ANTHONY A. GASBARRO, MICHAEL J. SAUVAGEAU, GIULIO G. GRECO, JOYCE A. LaFLEUR and NANCY L. GRAVES were elected as officers of Leominster Credit Union's board of directors. Gasbarro was elected chairman. He succeeds Amedeo E. Bilotta. Sauvageau was elected vice chairman. He has served on the board since 2007. Greco, a past chairman, was elected treasurer. LaFleur was elected assistant treasurer. She joined the board in 2007. Graves was elected to the position of clerk. She has been on the board since 2004.
CLINTON G. HEYD was named to the board of trustees of Natick Visiting Nurse Association. Now retired, he was the director of U.S. sales operations for Sun Microsystems. He holds a bachelor of science degree in computer systems engineering from Purdue University, based in West Lafayette, Ind. He is a resident of Natick.
JODI SAWYER was promoted to market development specialist at Spencer-based Flexcon, which makes adhesive coating and laminating products. She was previously a product manager at the company. Sawyer began working at Flexcon in 1989.
DOUGLAS BROWN and DR. DAVID FAIRCHILD were named to the Clinton Hospital Board of Trustees. Brown is senior vice president for member hospitals and chief legal officer for the UMass Memorial Health Care system. Brown earned his law degree from Boston University. He is responsible for the oversight of UMass Memorial's four community hospitals and several system-wide functions. Dr. Fairchild is senior vice president of clinical integration for the UMass Memorial Health Care system and professor of medicine for UMass Medical School. He earned his medical degree from Pennsylvania State University, based in University Park, Pa. He also holds a master's degree in public health from Harvard University's School of Public Health in Boston.
DR. MARC-DAVID MUNK was hired as chief medical officer for Worcester-based Reliant Medical Group. He comes to Reliant from the University of New Mexico Hospitals in Albuquerque, where he served as executive medical director for quality and safety. A board-certified emergency physician, Dr. Munk was formerly an associate professor of emergency medicine at the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque. He earned his medical degree from Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia; a master's in public health from Boston University; and a master's in health care management from Harvard University in Boston.
ARMAND A. FERNANDEZ was hired as vice president of small business lending at St. Mary's Credit Union in Marlborough. He most recently served as vice president of regional small business lending for TD Bank and, prior to that, as vice president and business relationship manager at Rockland Trust. Fernandez is a resident of Franklin.
BRIAN LEDWITH was promoted by Framingham-based MutualOne Bank as senior vice president of commercial lending. He joined the former Framingham Co-operative Bank in 2007 as vice president and as a member of the commercial lending team. Previously, he had served as vice president of senior retail lending and as a commercial lending officer at Benjamin Franklin Bank in Franklin. Ledwith holds a bachelor's degree from Boston College in Chestnut Hill.
CHRIS LITTLEFIELD, BOB SOLTZ, and JEAN NEWTON were hired by Worcester-based BlueHive, a trade show exhibit and brand environment company. Littlefield is operations manager of BlueHive Northeast. Soltz, a senior account executive, will manage the firm's New York office. Newton joins BlueHive as office manager for BlueHive Northeast.
KERRI CALNAN was hired as executive director of the graduate and professional studies program at Nichols College in Dudley. She formerly worked at Elms College in Chicopee, where she designed its MBA program.
BARBARA HARRINGTON was hired by ERA Key Realty Services in Worcester. She earned a bachelor's degree from Boston University and a master's in education from Framingham State University. Harrington was executive director for MADD Massachusetts for12 years.
MARY E. SCOTT was elected chairperson and NORMAN P. GARIEPY vice chairman of the board of directors at Fitchburg-based IC Federal Credit Union. Scott is vice president for human resources at Quincy College. Scott holds a bachelor's degree from Boston College, a master of divinity degree from the Episcopal Divinity School in Cambridge and a J.D. from Western New England University in Springfield. Gariepy was first elected to the board in 1986. He is a self-employed CPA with an office in Leominster and has a small digital printing and copying business in Devens. He earned a bachelor's degree in computer science from Worcester Polytechnic Institute and an master's in accounting from Northeastern University.
DAVID LARSON was hired as executive vice president of worldwide sales at The Training Associates in Westborough. He was previously vice president of strategic alliances for The College Network, a distance-learning company. Larson earned a bachelor's degree in marketing from the University of Florida in Gainesville.
BARBARA COMBES INGRASSIA was hired by the Holden-based MotivAct Group LLC as manager of research and development. The firm offers holistic personal and professional development training programs, as well as individual and group coaching. Ingrassia is a certified copyright management specialist.
BARBARA ZURAWSKI was hired by Dudley-based E.J. Stochaj Insurance Agency Inc. She is a capital generalist for the agency. Zurawski is a graduate of Worcester State University and is a licensed agent and broker.
