Framingham Co-operative Bank has elected MARK HARANAS as president and COO. Haranas is a partner in the Framingham law firm of Haranas, Mayer, Jachowicz & Galvani LLP, and has served as general counsel to the bank for nearly two decades.
PAUL FENNER has joined The Suburban Group as director of professional services. Before joining The Suburban Group, he worked in the technology and telecom industries.
THOMAS CONNELLY JR. has joined the staff at Anna Maria College as director of the associate of science nursing program. Prior to joining AMC, he was an assistant professor at UMass Boston. KAREN MORRISEY, has joined the AMC staff as an assistant in the health services department. Prior to joining AMC she worked for the American Red Cross as a certified instructor.
EDWARD CONNOR has been named senior vice president of Rollstone Bank & Trust's Financial Services division. Most recently, he worked for an investment firm and prior to that helped establish the trust department at Flagship Bank. WAYNE CARNEY has joined the bank as a financial advisor in its Financial Services Division. Carney, a fully licensed financial advisor and stock broker with more than 13 years experience, will be responsible for building and maintaining the retail brokerage and mutual fund side of the division.
The contract for DEXTER MORSE, head of Worcester Academy, has been extended through June 2012. Morse, who was hired in 1997, had previously received a contract extension that ensured his headship until 2009. The most recent extension by the Board was unanimously approved.
Dr. THU MALIKOWSKI, a specialist in physical medicine and rehabilitation, joined the department of orthopedics and physical rehabilitation at UMass Memorial Medical Center. She received her medical degree from the University of Wisconsin, and completed her residency at the University of Washington and is board certified by the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.
Franklin-based Benjamin Franklin Bank announced the following promotions: JEFFREY GUIMOND has been promoted to senior vice president/senior retail lender and loan operations. MICHAEL GRAFF has been promoted to reverse mortgage officer/senior homeowners products group. He previously served as reverse mortgage sales supervisor with Wells Fargo. CAMILLE REMUS has been promoted to assistant vice president/compliance officer/senior audit officer. She previously served as the bank's assistant compliance officer, bank secrecy act officer and security officer. JOHN J. CICCARELLI has been promoted to assistant vice president/community banking officer of the bank's Milford branch. Mr. Ciccarelli has been with the bank since 1994.

Pepperell-based Exchange Authority has appointed ROBERT PINGETON to senior vice president. Before this appointment, he was the northeast manager for Bayview 1031.
