RICHARD C. LOGAN and JOANNE BERGER-SWEENEY were named to the Framingham State University Board of Trustees. Logan is founder and retired president and CEO of Medical Records Associates Inc. He previously served as director of medical records at four hospitals, including Massachusetts General. Berger-Sweeney is a neuroscientist and dean of the school of arts and sciences at Tufts University in Boston. She earned her Ph.D. from The Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore. Berger-Sweeney is also a professor of biology at Tufts.
JERE SHEA has been hired as director of development for the Worcester Art Museum. Most recently, he served as director of principal gifts at Partners In Health of Boston, a nonprofit. He earned his bachelor's degree from Boston College and master of fine arts degree from New York University. He is a resident of Hopkinton.
MARK DRISCOLL was hired as vice president and financial consultant at Millbury-based Girard Financial Group. He is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, and lives in Clinton.
Worcester-based Training Resources of America hired TRISH ARNOLD as government sales consultant and named MICHAEL QUIGLEY manager of the Worcester office. Arnold has a bachelor's degree from Salem State University in Salem. Quigley, who most recently served as manager of the Quincy office, has a bachelor's degree in history and secondary education from Saint Joseph's College in Standish, Maine, and a master's in adult education and training from the University of Phoenix.
SARAH FARLEY and BEN MASSÉ have been hired as account executives by the Worcester Sharks. Farley previously worked with the Worcester Tornadoes in the Can-Am Baseball League, most recently as assistant general manager. She has a bachelor's in sports management from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. Massé previously served as a sales and marketing intern with the Bowie Baysox minor league baseball team. He has a bachelor's in history from Elms College in Chicopee.
ARTHUR J. GLISPIN and CHERYL L. WOODMAN were promoted by Quabaug Corp. in North Brookfield. Glispin was promoted to vice president and chief lean officer. He was most recently director of finance. He is a resident of Oxford. Woodman, of West Brookfield, was promoted to vice president and supply value officer. She was most recently director of purchasing.
DARLENE KING was hired as clinical services manager at Acclaim Home Health Care Inc. in Worcester. She was previously quality assurance nurse and alternate supervisor at the now-closed UMass Memorial Home Care agency. She is a registered nurse.
JOHN ROESE was hired by Hopkinton-based EMC Corp. as chief technology officer. Roese was most recently senior vice president and general manager of Huawei's North American R&D organization. He also served as the executive leader of Huawei's Enterprise Global Competency Center. Roese is also founding partner of ICT Advisory Group LLC.
JOHN R. PEELER, chairman and CEO of Veeco Instruments Inc., was named to the IPG Photonics Board of Directors. Peeler will serve on the Oxford company's compensation committee. Peeler joined Veeco as CEO in 2007 and was named chairman of the board in May.
Worcester-based Easter Seals Massachusetts hired KELLI M. BARRY as vice president of development. Before joining Easter Seals, Barry spent 14 years with the American Cancer Society, most recently as state vice president of development. She has a bachelor's degree from St. Anselm College in Manchester, N.H., and a master's degree in public administration from American International College in Springfield.
NANCY PAPAGNO CRIMMIN was named vice president for student affairs at Becker College in Worcester. She most recently served as dean of campus life at Assumption College in Worcester and has also worked at Curry College in Milton and Alverno College in Milwaukee, Wi. She earned a bachelor's degree in psychology from Stonehill College in Easton; a master's in counseling and student personnel services from Springfield College; and a doctorate of education in educational leadership from Johnson & Wales University in Providence.
