KATHLEEN A. DAVIS Avidia Bank

ERICA LIGHT and DONATA MARTIN were elected and JACK S. FORD, MARINA M. RAHER and JOHN S. MORSE were reelected as directors of Workers' Credit Union in Fitchburg. Light is manager of digital marketing for Tyco SimplexGrinnell of Westminster. She's a graduate of Rutgers University in New Jersey, Martin is chief professional officer for the Boys and Girls Club of Fitchburg and Leominster. She holds a bachelor's degree from Boston University. Ford is president of Ford Enterprises. Raher owns an accounting firm in Sterling. Morse is president of Morse Printing and Graphics in Fitchburg.

DR. HOLLY A. MAZUR and DR. SHASHIDHARA NANJUNDASWAMY were hired by Reliant Medical Group. Dr. Mazur will practice in the internal medicine department in Leominster. She has a medical degree from Tufts University and completed an internship and residency at UMass Memorial Medical Center in Worcester. She's board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine. Dr. Nanjundaswamy will practice neurology at Saint Vincent Hospital. He earned his medical degree from Bangalore Medical College in Bangalore, India, and also completed his residency and fellowship at UMass Memorial Medical Center. Dr. Nanjundaswamy is board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.

WALTER RUNNE was hired by BlueHive Strategic Environments in Worcester as senior project manager of the exhibits division. He previously held positions at 5 Wits Productions, Access TCA and Protovision Inc.

LAURA BURCH was hired by Maynard-based JM Coull, a construction firm, as its marketing and client development manager. She was most recently proposal coordinator at EQ Northeast Inc., and has also worked at ECC of Marlborough as a proposal specialist. Burch lives in Leominster.

CARA HOLLAND was hired as director of sales for Destination Worcester, the agency housed with the Worcester Regional Chamber of Commerce. She previously worked at Holiday Inn Express Worcester Downtown and as corporate sales manager for Sturbridge Host Hotel.

NICHOLAS ANASTASOPOULOS, of Mirick O'Connell in Westborough, was elected president of the Boston chapter of the Labor and Employment Relations Association. He's a partner in the law firm's labor, employment and employee benefits group.

SHARON PONTES was promoted to regional vice president and profit center manager for Acadia, an insurance company based in Westbrook, Maine. She will be based in the Marlborough branch. Pontes has been an Acadia employee since 2000. She previously led the underwriting function of the New England branch at CNA Insurance, and worked at Trust Insurance and Carlin Insurance. She was most recently underwriting director for Acadia's Massachusetts branch.

JEFFREY DUQUETTE joined Dingman, McInnes & McLane — an intellectual property law firm based in Westborough — as a partner. He has more than 15 years of experience in preparing and prosecuting patent applications.

CHRISTOPHER CARELLI was hired by Carr Financial Group of Worcester as a partner and senior wealth advisor. He began his career in 2000 as a stock trader for a major firm on Wall Street, and has also worked as a bond broker and trader.

KARTHIK KUPPUSAMY joined laboratory services firm Quest Diagnostics as general manager of its neurology solutions franchise. He will be based in Worcester. Kuppusamy spent more than 17 years working at General Electric Healthcare, holding roles in areas such as life-cycle product management, sales and marketing. Most recently, he was GE Healthcare's senior executive director of magnetic resonance imagining for South Asia. Before that, he was head of research and development for the company's global MRI business. Kuppusamy holds a bachelor's degree in electronics and communications engineering from Anna University, in Chennai, India; a master's degree in biomedical engineering from the Indian Institute of technology in Madras, India; an MBA in finance and operations from Marquette University; and a Ph.D. in electrical and biomedical engineering from Washington University in St. Louis.

JEFF TURCOTTE was elected to the board of directors of the Middlesex West Chamber of Commerce. He is assistant vice president of commercial lending at Workers' Credit Union in Fitchburg, and was previously a business development officer at Middlesex Savings Bank. Turcotte, a Fitchburg resident, holds a bachelor's degree in business management from Fitchburg State University.

DAVE LARSON was hired as chief technology officer and vice president, product, for Hudson-based Corero Network Security. He was most recently chief technology officer for HP Networking and vice president of the HP Networking advanced technology group. Previously, Larson served as chief technologist for security and routing, and was a senior member of the advanced technology group within HP Networking. Prior to that, he was vice president of integrated product strategy for TippingPoint. Larson has also held senior marketing and product roles with Tizor Systems, Sandburst Corp. and Xedia Corp. He holds a bachelor's degree in physics from Gordon College in Wenham.

RICK CARBONE was hired as vice president of North American sales for Egenera of Boxborough, an infrastructure and cloud management software company. He previously served as vice president of sales for Unisys' Northeast region, where he held various roles over 32 years. Carbone holds a bachelor's degree in management science from Kean University in Union, N.J.

ELAINE STONE, LYNN GREENHALGE, ROBERT LANDOLINA and KRIS CULLEN were all promoted to assistant vice president at Southbridge-based Savers Bank. Stone, of Webster, was promoted to assistant vice president of human resources. She has been with the bank in various roles for seven years. Stone holds a bachelor's degree in business administration from Worcester State University. Greenhalge and Landolina have been promoted to assistant vice presidents and credit officers. Both were senior credit analysts. Greenhalge, of Dudley, has been with Savers for 29 years, starting as a teller. Landolina has been with Savers for two years in various roles. He has a bachelor's degree in accounting from Central Connecticut State University. Cullen has been promoted to assistant vice president and marketing manager. He joined the bank as a marketing manager last fall. Prior to that, he was marketing manager at GFA Federal Credit Union, and held sales and service positions at Workers' Credit Union. The Fitchburg resident earned a bachelor's degree in marketing from Nichols College in Dudley.

KATHLEEN A. DAVIS, HEATHER A. O'BRYAN, and JESSICA L. BONETTI were all promoted at Hudson-based Avidia Bank. Davis, now assistant controller, was hired by the bank as an accounting assistant in 2004. She lives in Marlborough. O'Bryan, of Berlin, is officer of merchant services and was hired by the bank in 2007 as a teller. Bonetti joined Avidia in 2003 as a customer service representative. She lives in North Grafton.

MARY JERNIGAN, KEN ACCARDI and ASHWIN DESAI were hired by Southborough-based ikaSystems, a business process and automation company. Jernigan is vice president of product management. She was previously senior vice president at Healthfirst and vice president of group operations at BlueCross BlueShield of North Carolina. Accardi is vice president of engineering. Before that, he was chief information officer for GE Medical Systems' global service unit, and chief technology officer of Ankota, a cloud-based health care software company. Desai, senior director of quality assurance, previously held senior quality engineering roles at companies such as IBM and NaviMedix Inc., now NaviNet Inc. n
