LAUREN B. SCHIFFMAN has been hired as director of communications for Natick-based Century Health Systems. The firm is the parent company of Natick Visiting Nurse Association and New Century Homecare Services. She was previously a staff reporter and research director for the Westchester County Business Journal and Fairfield County Business Journal. Schiffman has a bachelor's degree in advertising and public relations for TV & radio from Ithaca College in Ithaca, N.Y.
STEPHEN QUINK was hired as a vice president and commercial loan officer at SpencerBANK. He has more than 25 years of experience in business development at banks and institutions throughout Central Massachusetts.
Savers Bank in Southbridge named HOLLY REED, HEATHER WILSON, MATTHEW DeBETTENCOURT, JESSICA BRIGHAM, JORDAN HOY and BENJAMIN CHANTHANOUVONG to new positions. Reed will serve as a cash management specialist. She was most recently an Internet banking representative and assistant ATM coordinator at the bank. Wilson, former head teller at the Southbridge branch, will serve as the branch's customer service representative. DeBettencourt is now assistant manager of the Sturbridge branch, having held the same position in the Charlton branch. Brigham, the former assistant branch manager in Sturbridge, is business development specialist. Hoy is vice president of business banking, formerly a commercial lender with Savers. Chanthanouvong is bank security officer and facilities manager. He was formerly a business development officer with the bank.
DONNA L. BOULANGER, KEITH KIRKLAND, EVELYN VELEZ, and SHIRLEY YARNIE were elected to serve three-year terms on various committees with the Health Foundation of Central Massachusetts in Worcester. Boulanger, president and CEO of North Brookfield Savings Bank, will serve on the audit committee; Kirkland, vice president of commercial lending and services at Southbridge Savings Bank, is on the investment committee; while Velez, of the South County Head Start Program at Worcester Community Action Council, and Yarnie, regional director of the MDPH Central Regional Health Office, will serve on the community outreach committee. Elected to serve a second three-year term on the community outreach committee: DEREK BRINDISI; EMILY MACRAE and BARBARA NEALON. DAVID GRENIER was elected to his third and final three-year term on the investment committee.
MIKE BAKER was hired by Marlborough-based Sepaton as a senior EMEA sales executive. He has held previous positions at Amdahl, Fujitsu, IBM and Quantum.
DREW W. COLBY and JAY R. PEABODY have become partners at Partridge, Snow & Hahn, with offices in Westborough. Colby focuses his practice on issues involving construction, such as payment disputes and bid protest claims. Peabody specializes in real estate matters, representing owners, developers and lenders.
MELISSA H. WHITE was promoted by Rehabilitative Resources Inc. of Sturbridge to director of residential services. An employee of RRI for five years, she was most recently director of quality assurance. She has a master's degree in public administration from Anna Maria College and is a resident of Charlton.
MARCIA L. LEVESQUE, JENNIFER L. DELISLE and AGNES M. GORDON were promoted to assistant branch managers by Fitchburg-based Workers' Credit Union. Levesque will serve in the Acton office. She was previously a member service lending representative in the Member Information Center in Lunenburg. Delisle will serve in the credit union's Chelmsford office. She joined the credit union 14 years ago and was most recently a financial service representative at the Lunenburg branch. Gordon will serve in the Townsend office. She joined the credit union four years ago as a financial service representative in the Fitchburg office.
Southbridge Credit Union appointed DENISE COURNOYER as its first female chairman of the board, replacing Ronald Ledoux. She previously served as first vice chairman on the credit union's board of directors.
DR. ANKUR PARIKH has been hired as a urologist on the staff of Marlborough Hospital. He is a graduate of the Temple University School of Medicine in Philadelphia and completed his surgical internship and urological residency at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville, Pa. He's also on the staff of UMass Memorial Medical Center.
DR. MICHELE PICI and JULIE EISELE were promoted by Worcester-based Edward M. Kennedy Community Health Center. Dr. Pici was promoted to chief medical officer. She was formerly the center's medical director. She has a medical degree from New York College of Osteopathic Medicine in Old Westbury, N.Y. She completed her medical residency at UMass Medical Center in Worcester and earned an MBA for physician executives from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville. Eisele was promoted from her role as staff development nurse to director of nursing. She has both bachelor's and master's degrees in nursing from Regis College in Weston. Eisele was formerly an emergency room nurse at Marlborough Hospital and MetroWest Medical Center in Framingham.
BRIAN J. MULLIN, DOUGLAS T. RADIGAN, CHRISTOPHER R. ROCK and COLLEEN CUSHING TOWLE have been named partners at Worcester-based law firm Bowditch & Dewey. Mullin and Towle will continue to work in the firm's labor and employment and higher education practice areas, Radigan in litigation and Rock in the firm's business and finance area.
