RICK EGAN was promoted to vice president and commercial loan officer at North Brookfield Savings Bank. He previously served as assistant vice president and commercial loan officer for the bank. He is a resident of Ashburnham.
DR. ALLAN KUONG was named site chief at Reliant Medical Group's ReadyMED location in Shrewsbury. He earned his medical degree from the University of New England in Biddeford, Maine, and completed his internship at the Naval Medical Center in Portsmouth, Va. Dr. Kuong is board certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Emergency Medicine.
JOHN O'BRIEN was named president and CEO of Leominster Credit Union. He will assume the role from Carol A. Southworth, interim president and CEO. O'Brien joined the credit union in 2007 as senior vice president of lending. He lives in West Boylston.
JOHN Q. COLOGNESI was elected chairman and ANTHONY M. DETARANDO, vice chairman of the Southbridge Savings Bank Board of Directors. The executive committee of the bank's board of trustees will include ROBERT B. MUENZBERG JR., JANET E. GARON and JAMES H. WADDICK along with Colognesi and Detarando. Also elected to one-year terms on the audit committee: RICHARD A. BOUVIER, LAWRENCE P. GAINE, RAYMOND C. ROHR and RONALD J. VAIRO. ALAN S. PEPPEL was elected trustee. BRENDA BIANCULLI, KIMBERLY CAMERON, WILLIAM PLANTE and STEVEN TANKANOW were elected corporators.
NANCY J. DAY was hired by Worcester-based ERA Key Realty Services in Worcester. She graduated from Mount Wachusett Community College in Gardner. Day previously worked with Century 21 DeNault in Leominster from 2006-2011. Prior to joining ERA Key, she was associated with SMI Realty Brokerage in Boylston as a realtor and property manager.
LAURANT OLIVIER was hired as a banquet chef by the Beechwood Hotel in Worcester. He has a degree from The Culinary Institute of Normandy, France. He previously worked at many hotels and restaurants in Europe, before moving to the U.S. and serving as chef de cuisine at The Still River Café in Eastford, Conn.
ANDREW N. BOUCHER, GERALD L. BANKOWSKI and ALLEN T. GOGUEN were re-elected to the board of directors at GFA Federal Credit Union in Gardner. Boucher is a director at Boucher Funeral Home in Gardner. Bankowski is a CPA and president and owner of Venning and Jacques P.C. in Gardner. Goguen is a retired history teacher at Gardner Junior High School.
ABIGAIL AVERBACH and MICHELLE JONES-JOHNSON were named corporators of the Greater Worcester Community Foundation (GWCF). Both were elected to five-year terms. Averbach is chief of staff for UMass Medical School's Commonwealth Medicine division; Jones-Johnson is the school's director of human resources and talent management. Averbach has worked for Commonwealth Medicine since 2004. She is a resident of Worcester. Jones-Johnson has been a director with the medical school's human resources department since 2011. Both are Worcester residents.
