CHRISTINE BELAIR was hired as an advisor at Pinnacle Private Wealth, and will work in the firm’s Leominster office. She spent more than four years as an advisor with COO Investment Services Corp.’s Littleton and Andover offices, and worked for three years in a similar role with Sovereign Investments, in its Worcester and Nashua, N.H., offices. Belair, of Townsend, is a graduate of Mt. Holyoke College, with a bachelor’s degree in economics.
MICHAEL G. MCAULIFFE, JOHN P. DARGIN, MAUD DENTICO, BARBARA A. KENNEDY, ROBERT E. PAULSEN JR., NICOLE I. PECORELLI, CHRISTOPHER R. GILLIN and CARLA M. STOVER were named officers for Natick-based Middlesex Savings Bank’s management team. McAuliffe was named executive vice president and chief commercial banking officer. Dargin was promoted from sales and customer service to assistant vice president, based in Natick. Dentico, a business development officer and Wayland resident, was promoted to assistant vice president, based in Framingham. Kennedy, a community banking officer, was promoted to assistant vice president. Paulsen, of Rutland, a vice president, was promoted to senior vice president, based in Westborough. Pecorelli was promoted from assistant vice president to vice president, based in Concord. Gillin, a branch manager who lives in Clinton, was named community banking officer based in Concord. Stover, a business development representative, was named business development officer based in Acton. She also lives in Clinton.
KARL CHASE and JENNIFER HARWICH-VAUGHAN were hired by Shaner Hotels, which owns Southbridge Hotel & Conference Center in Southbridge. Chase is director of sales. Most recently, he served as director of sales and marketing for Heldrich Hotel & Conference Center in New Brunswick, N.J. He also served in leadership roles at Peninsula Hotel in Chicago and as opening director of sales and marketing for Capella Telluride Ski Resort in Telluride, Colo. Harwich-Vaughan, of Charlton, is catering sales manager. She most recently served as a sales manager at Bentley University in Waltham.
JOSHUA P. LAPAN was appointed to the board of directors at Worcester PIF Inc., as treasurer. He is a CPA at Shepherd & Goldstein LLP of Worcester, and was promoted to partner earlier this year. He has been a member of Worcester PIF since the fall of 2013. He lives in Holden.
MATTHEW MARINO was hired as assistant vice president of individual disability insurance policy services at Unum’s Worcester office. He was previously director of operations at Fidelity Insurance and has also worked at Liberty Mutual Insurance. Marino holds a bachelor’s degree in management from Worcester Polytechnic Institute.
JENNIFER ARNO WING was hired as director of administration and financial aid at Applewild School in Fitchburg. She was previously director of financial aid and associate director of admissions at Chapel Hill-Chauncy Hall School in Waltham. Prior to that, she held the same position at Kents Hill School in Maine. Wing holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Southern Maine and a master’s in leadership from Northeastern University.
JAMES PENDLETON was hired as chief financial officer at Green Leaf Construction in Leominster. He most recently served as financial service manager at RH White Construction Co. and previously worked at Hanover Insurance Group and EMC Corp.
TAMMY GARCIA was hired as branch manager of GFA Federal Credit Union in Gardner. She has nearly 20 years of experience in community banking, member service and civic engagement.
PAIGE E. BILLINGS was hired by Sturbridge-based Rehabilitative Resources Inc. (RRI) as director of development. She most recently served as development associate for the Metropolitan Opera in New York City. Prior to that, she was a residential assistant supervisor for YAI-National Institute for People with Disabilities in New York and also served as marketing and development manager for Why Me in Worcester, a nonprofit serving children with cancer and their families. Billings earned a bachelor’s degree in journalism from the University of Connecticut.
MARGARET GINGRAS was promoted to customer service representative at Oxford-based Hometown Bank’s Sturbridge office on Main Street. The Brimfield resident has been working at the bank for seven years, starting as a teller at the Oxford branch.
CHARLES P. BOWLES, DOUGLAS R. DELAY and MARK P. HAWKE were reelected to the board of directors for GFA Federal Credit Union to serve three-year terms. Bowles has been a board member since 1988. Prior to his retirement in 2008, he was CEO at GFA for 24 years. He is a graduate of Western New England College and completed graduate studies at Worcester Polytechnic Institute. Delay is the credit union’s chief governance officer. He’s also purchasing manager at Latrobe Specialty Steel Distribution, a division of Carpenter Technology Corp. Delay is a graduate of Nichols College, where he earned his bachelor’s degree in economics. He has served on the GFA board since 2003. Hawke, the mayor of Gardner, has served on the board since 2012. He holds a bachelor’s degree from UMass Amherst and an MBA from Anna Maria College.
DR. BARRIE BAKER was hired as chief medical officer for Network Health, a division of Tufts Health Plan, which has offices in Worcester. She had been chief medical officer for Aetna Better Health and Aetna Better Health Kids in Philadelphia. She has also served as medical director for Coventry's Medicaid programs in Pennsylvania and Maryland, and as senior medical director for Keystone Mercy Health Plan. Before joining the health insurance industry, Baker spent seven years as a family physician. She earned her bachelor’s degree from Temple University in architecture; an MBA from Eastern University in St. Davids, Pa.; and a medical degree from the Medical College of Pennsylvania, in Philadelphia.
ANTHONY A. GASBARRO, MICHAEL J. SAUVAGEAU and GIULIO G. GRECO were re-elected and HENRY C. KULIK JR. and RICHARD A. SHEPPARD elected to the Leominster Credit Union's board of directors. Gasbarro, of Leominster, is chairman and Sauvageau, of Fitchburg, is vice chairman. Greco, treasurer, lives in Leominster, while Kulik, a Westminster resident, was elected assistant treasurer. Sheppard, of Sterling, was elected clerk. Joining the officers on the board are: AMEDEO E. BILOTTA of Lunenburg; BRUCE J. BOLLIVAR of Holden; ANDREW D. COUSINS of Sterling; NANCY L. GRAVES of Leominster, JOYCE A. LAFLEUR of Leominster; and JOSEPH V. QUINTAL of Clinton.
