SpencerBANK hired LORI KELLY as a branch administrator to oversee branch activity at all SpencerBANK locations. Kelly has more than 20 years of experience in the banking industry.

VINCENT F. O'ROURKE JR. was named general counsel of the College of the Holy Cross in Worcester. He is a partner at Worcester-based Bowditch & Dewey. O'Rourke has represented the college in various capacities since 1981, when he joined the firm. He is a graduate of Holy Cross and earned a law degree from the University of Chicago.

AMY LIPTON was named senior vice president of marketing at Marlborough-based Sepaton Inc., a data backup and recovery provider. Most recently, she was vice president of marketing at WMS Industries, a gaming technology company in Illinois. Lipton has a bachelor's degree in fine arts and design from Syracuse University in New York and a master's from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, N.Y.

DONNA T. GEMME was named chief nursing officer at Framingham-based MetroWest Medical Center. She was previously associate chief nursing office at UMass Memorial Medical Center in Worcester. Gemme is also an assistant professor at the graduate school of nursing at UMass Medical School in Worcester.

LISA ZAPATKA was named chief nursing officer at Saint Vincent Hospital in Worcester. She was previously system chief nursing officer and vice president of patient care services at Landmark Health Services in Woonsocket, R.I. Zapatka earned a bachelor's degree in nursing from Rhode Island College in Providence and her master's in nursing from the University of Rhode Island in Kingstown.

GEORGE KAJOS was hired by Acton-based video software company SeaChange International Inc. as general manager for its Platform business unit. He was director of engineering for Motorola video-on-demand products since 2006. He earned a bachelor's in electrical engineering from Cornell University in Ithaca, N.Y., an MBA from Bentley University in Waltham, and a master's in computer science from the University of California at Los Angeles. He lives in Westborough.

MORGAN HILL was hired by Cinch IT Inc. of Worcester as a help desk engineer. He previously worked for Best Buy.

LOUIS GAVIGLIA was named MassDevelopment vice president of manufacturing program initiatives, a newly created position. He has 45 years of experience in manufacturing, and held executive positions at Nypro Inc. in Clinton; Century Electronics in Marlborough; Madison Cable Corp. in Worcester; and Digital Equipment Corp. in Maynard. He has a bachelor's degree from Boston College and an MBA from Boston University. Gaviglia lives in Northborough.

Westborough-based Grimes & Co. hired financial advisors TRAVIS GROSS and ADAM OCH. Gross was most recently regional vice president of asset management for Boston-based Columbia Management. He received dual bachelor's degrees from the University of Massachusetts in Amherst in economics and political science. Och most recently worked as an advisor at Morgan Stanley Smith Barney.

DR. ROBERTO CAVALIEROS was hired by Worcester-based Reliant Medical Group's department of opthamology at its Gold Star Boulevard location. He earned his medical degree from the University of Florida in Gainsville. Prior to joining Reliant Medical Group, Dr. Cavalieros practiced at Lexington Eye Associates in Lexington.

United Bank reassigned two personal bankers and hired a personal banker for its new branch in Northborough. MAUREEN MURRAY, the personal banker at United's Chadwick Square branch in Worcester, will fill that position in Northborough. Replacing her in Chadwick Square will be KARA WIERSMA, the personal banker in Whitinsville. PATRICIA EISENHAUR will join the United Bank team as the new Whitinsville personal banker.
