Mount Pleasant Country Club in Boylston has appointed PAUL WALSH as executive chef. Walsh has more than 25 years of culinary experience. He was previously executive chef at the Hynes Convention Center in Boston. Walsh is a graduate of Johnson and Wales University in Rhode Island.
Framingham-based marketing agency CommCreative has hired JOHN COSCO as a unified marketing architect. Cosco will research and design marketing strategies for high-tech, health care, energy and financial services sectors. He previously worked as a team leader in the computer hardware industry at Asian Atlantic Industries Inc. in Stratham, N.H., for five years. Cosco has a bachelor’s degree in business administration from University of New Hampshire in Durham.
Westborough-based training provider The Training Associates has named BOB FLYNN vice president of marketing and partner programs. He previously worked for IBM for 23 years and founded Progressive Insights Inc., a multimedia company. Flynn lives in Cape Elizabeth, Maine, and attended the University of Southern Maine, where he majored in business.
MICHAEL R. HALE has been hired as general manager of Shrewsbury Electric & Cable Operations (SELCO). Hale formerly served as the assistant town manager for the town of Shrewsbury. He will replace the retiring Thomas R. Josie, who has worked at SELCO for 25 years. Hale has a bachelor’s degree in government from Harvard University in Boston and an MBA from Boston University.
MARY E. CHARMCHI of Millbury has been promoted to director of admissions and marketing at Autumn Village Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Worcester, expanding her role as director of admissions. She has been at Autumn Village for the past 10 years and has worked in the health care industry for 30 years. Charmchi is a graduate of Worcester State University and attended Springfield College.
Worcester-based catering company Creedon and Co. has hired JOHN W.S. CREEDON JR. as vice president and SARA A. MURPHY as marketing and office manager. JULIE R. CREEDON has been promoted to vice president and E. BILL HART has been promoted to catering manager.
SUSAN A. FRANKLIN of Leominster has been promoted to online marketing manager for Fitchburg-based Workers’ Credit Union. She joined the credit union as a marketing coordinator. Franklin has an associate’s degree from Quinsigamond Community College in Worcester.
St. Mary’s Credit Union in Marlborough has hired HELENA R. BROWN as an executive administrative assistant and JOHN M. HENDRIKSE as assistant vice president of indirect lending. The credit union has also promoted several employees: MARIA L. PENNIMAN, assistant vice president/branch manager; BARBARA A. SCHRADER, assistant vice president/finance manager; SHERRIE L. MAKER, assistant vice president of human resources; MARK W. MILLETT assistant vice president of learning at development; and CHRISTINE G. MONTEIRO, assistant vice president/branch manager.

Worcester-based wastewater treatment technology company ThermoEnergy Corp. has named ROBERT MARRS vice president of international business development. Before joining ThermoEnergy, Marrs was vice president of business development at California-based Calera. Marrs received his bachelor’s in engineering from Lehigh University in Pennsylvania and his MBA in marketing and finance from the University of Connecticut.
TD Bank has named JOSHUA L. CORMIER of Gardner store manager of its Gardner store on Pearson Boulevard. Prior to joining TD Bank, he served as branch manager at Citizens Bank in Gardner. Cormier graduated from Fitchburg State University and earned an MBA in 2009 from the University of Phoenix.
North Brookfield-based rubber product maker Vibram has announced the promotion of ERIC ROSEN of Woodstock, Conn. Most recently executive vice president, he has been promoted to president and COO. Vibram also announced new hires NANCY BEAUDOIN, DANIEL FLECK and LEON JABLONSKI. Beaudoin, Vibram’s new wellness manager, most recently worked as nursing administrative supervisor at Worcester State Hospital. She lives in Brimfield. Fleck, of Westfield, has been hired as a process chemist. He is a graduate of Ohio Northern University. Jablonski has been named utility supervisor. He is a Brimfield resident.
GREG BOUREKAS has joined Leominster Credit Union as assistant vice president of indirect lending. He previously worked at St. Mary’s Credit Union and IC Federal Credit Union as an indirect lending manager. Bourekas earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting from UMass Lowell and lives in Ashburnham.
The Worcester Animal Rescue League named SERENA SHIELDS of Worcester to its board of directors. Shields is director of philanthropy and community relations at Holy Trinity Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Worcester. She is a graduate of Worcester State University.
Anna Maria College has hired JAMES G. GARDINER of Grafton as director of the Molly Bish Center for the Protection of Children and the Elderly. Gardiner will work out of both the college’s Paxton and Worcester offices. He has worked as commissioner for health and human services for the Worcester’s Department of Health and Human Services. Gardiner has a bachelor’s degree from Providence College.
UMass Memorial Medical Center has hired NINA GOSELIN WALSH as social/digital media specialist. Previously, Walsh ran her own consultancy firm, SetTheTrends PR. Prior to that Nina was at EMC Corp. in Hopkinton as a social media specialist and community manager. Walsh, of Shrewsbury, graduated from the University of Rhode Island in Kingston with a bachelor’s in communications studies.
