The United Way of North Central Massachusetts elected four new directors: JOHN DINAPOLI, Unitil Corp.; JOSEPH PAUL, Oracle; SUZANNE FARIAS, Four Points by Sheraton; and JOANNE FOSTER, House of Peace & Education, as an ex-officio director. The organization also announced the following officers: DR. BRUCE J. MAN, ROBERT F. CHAUVIN, MARTIN F. CONNORS JR., MATT W. JOHNSON, KEITH BOISSONEAU, DANIEL M. ASQUINO, ROBERT V. ANTONUCCI, and PHILLIP M. GRZEWINSKI.
Webster One Source, providers of commercial printing, commercial signage and mailing/fulfillment services, recently appointed BRIAN KEELER of Worcester as customer service representative and estimator. Webster One Source, one of the first green printers, is located in West Boylston and Hanson. Keeler will be based at the West Boylston office and will be responsible for providing cost-effective estimates and communicating with clients on live work. Keeler previously worked at Saltus Press in Worcester as an estimator for three years and was promoted to customer service representative/ estimator for a year.
The Community Foundation of North Central Massachusetts elected trustees and officers at its recent annual meeting. ALLEN ROME of Hub International New England LLC/Rome Insurance Agency in Fitchburg and GARY SHEPHERD of ShepCo Inc. in Townsend were elected as trustees to a two-year term ending in 2012. WILLIAM E. AUBUCHON III of W.E. Aubuchon Co. Inc. in Westminster was reelected as trustee to a one-year term ending in 2011. Elected to three-year terms ending in 2013 were: RONALD M. ANSIN, GEORGANA “JAN” COCHRAN, DAVID E. HUHTALA, THEODORE E. LAPRES III, DEBORAH C. PHILLIPS and ALBERT STONE.
AdCare Hospital welcomes back STEPHEN E. LUNDRIGAN of Worcester as clinical supervisor of outpatient services in Worcester. Lundrigan was a clinical supervisor at AdCare from 2001 to 2004. He subsequently served as clinical director of Unlocking Potential for Growth Inc., and most recently served as a private consultant to residential programs. In his new role at AdCare Outpatient Services he will oversee administrative and clinical staff and plans to expand services for young adults.
Ingle Law, an estate planning and elder law services firm, has announced that attorney TRACEY A. L. INGLE was elected as president of the Massachusetts Chapter of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys. She will serve as the local public voice of the organization. Ingle was nominated for the position from among 550 chapter members.
The Worcester-based law firm of Bowditch & Dewey announced the addition of ROGER ZIMMERMAN and JARED OTTE. Zimmerman joins the firm as of counsel in the intellectual property practice area. He has extensive experience in intellectual property, including client counseling, licensing and agreements, and preparation and prosecution of patent applications in the areas of biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, materials, chemistry and medical devices. Otte joins the firm as an associate in the real estate practice area. He earned a bachelor’s from Elon University and graduated cum laude from Suffolk University Law School.
The Worcester chapter of Habitat for Humanity has hired DEBBI MOORE as manager for its new “ReStore,” at 7 Gold St., Worcester. The retail business accepts new or gently used donations of building materials, appliances and non-upholstered furniture and re-sells them to the public at reduced prices. The profits go directly to Habitat for Humanity, which partners with families in need of affordable housing.
Hanover Insurance Group Inc. of Worcester announced that DAVID B. GREENFIELD has been appointed executive vice president and senior finance officer, effective immediately. Greenfield most recently served as executive vice president and CFO of Bermuda-based AXIS Capital Holdings Ltd., where he was part of the company’s executive management group and was responsible for all aspects of the firm’s financial operations. JOHN J. BRENNAN has also been elected to Hanover’s board of directors. Brennan is chairman emeritus and senior advisor of The Vanguard Group Inc. in Pennsylvania.
HOLLIE BENNETT has been promoted at Rollstone Bank & Trust of Fitchburg. Bennett, who joined RBT in 2005, has been named consumer lending manager. She has 10 years of banking experience, with a concentration in retail and lending. LEE DEARBORN has also been promoted at RBT. Dearborn has been named vice president in the information technology department. HEATHER SARASIN has been promoted to assistant vice president/branch manager. She joined RBT in 2002 with more than 20 years of banking experience. JOAN DAIGLE has been promoted to mortgage lending manager. She began working for RBT 28 years ago in the retail department and has been instrumental in the mortgage department.
Marlborough-based Sepaton, with offices in Marlborough, has appointed TIM BUTCHART as vice president and general manager for its Europe, Middle East and Africa operations. He will be based in London.
OneShield Inc. of Marlborough has hired LIZA SMITH as general manager of the company’s new global strategy division. Smith joins OneShield from EMC Document Sciences, where she was vice president and global head of insurance. Smith will lead the development and deployment of OneShield Dragon product suite.
MICHAEL SCHRADER has joined the Worcester and Cohasset offices of the engineering firm Tighe & Bond as a project manager. Schrader has 20 years of engineering experience. Schrader has a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Northeastern University in Boston and holds engineering registrations in Massachusetts and Rhode Island.
Auburn Visiting Nurse Association has named MICHELLE MACALONEY human resources coordinator and FRANCIS GEORGE finance controller. MacAloney graduated from Mount Wachusett Community College with an associate’s in business administration. She has more than 20 years of human resources experience. George has more than 20 years of financial management experience in higher education and social services.
The Seven Hills Foundation of Worcester has named KATHLEEN A. MYSHRALL as vice president of advancement. Prior to joining Seven Hills, Myshrall was program coordinator of the Women's Initiative at the United Way of Central Massachusetts, where she developed and managed the program, raised more than $2 million, and supported more than 1,400 donors.
