STEVE DODGE was named a sales and marketing manager for Vibram Disc Golf Products at Quabaug Corp. in North Brookfield. He was previously owner of Prime Discs disc golf shop and manager of the Maple Hill Disc Golf course.

The Training Associates, the trainer consultant company based in Westborough, has hired FRED ERNSTING as a recruiting manager. Ernsting previously worked as a senior recruiter for Randstad U.S., with responsibilities including helping several Greater Worcester companies hire temporary staff. He has 20 years of experience in staffing, sales, customer service and operations management.

Murphy Insurance Agency of Hudson has hired EVELINE M. WHEELER as human resources manager. Wheeler has 30 years of experience in HR. In her new position, she directs and coordinates recruitment, employment policies and regulatory compliance for the agency. She has a bachelor’s degree from Brandeis University.

Fletcher, Tilton & Whipple PC has named attorneys JOSEPH T. BARTULIS JR. and TODD E. BRODEUR as officers of the firm. Bartulis is chairperson of the firm’s labor and employment law practice area and is a member of the business and corporate practice group. He also advises school departments on education law matters. He is a graduate of Boston College Law School and Baylor University. Brodeur concentrates his practice in real estate, land use planning and permitting and corporate and commercial lending. Brodeur received his bachelor’s degree from Trinity College and his J.D. from Suffolk University Law School. He lives in Grafton.

All Star Incentive Marketing of Sturbridge has hired LYNN CAMPANA-LEE as business development manager. Campana-Lee previously worked at Maritz Inc. of Marlborough, most recently as a senior marketing manager. In that position, she worked with All Star as a manufacturer’s representative for luxury brands.

Highland-March Office Business Centers in Westborough, which provides flexible office space to entrepreneurs and corporate clients, has hired CYNTHIA THOMPSON as a client services associate. Thompson previously worked in real estate sales, marketing and agent management in Pennsylvania and Connecticut since 1993.

Sunshine Sign Co. of North Grafton has hired KYLE P. WOLFE as design director. In his new position, Wolfe will oversee the company’s design and engineering work and lead its green design management and material selection efforts. Wolfe previously worked as a design engineer at Design Communications Ltd. in Boston, working on signs for clients including The New World of Coca Cola museum in Atlanta, MGM Grand at Foxwoods, and State Street Bank in Boston.

Genzyme Corp., the Cambridge-based biotechnology company with extensive operations in Central Massachusetts, has hired RON BRANNING as senior vice president of global product quality. Branning has worked in the bio/pharmaceutical industry on quality control and regulatory compliance for more than 30 years. Most recently, he led quality and compliance functions at Gilead Sciences.

Nichols College of Dudley has added JOSEPH J. CARLONE, president of Linemaster Switch Corp. in Woodstock, Conn., to its board of advisors. Carlone joined Linemaster in 1996 as general manager and soon became senior vice president and then president. In 2002, he became the owner of the company. Before Linemaster, Carlone was director of operations and general manager for ITT Cannon.

AMY M. FAHEY was named a proposal writer and marketing coordinator at Holliston-based Colantonio Inc. She was previously a sales analyst at State Street Bank in Boston. She earned a bachelor’s in management from Suffolk University in Boston.

The Worcester-based law firm of Bowditch & Dewey LLP has named JAMES D. HANRAHAN managing partner and hired new associates DEVON A. KINNARD, BRIAN J. MULLIN and AIVI NGUYEN. In his new position, Hanrahan will help set the strategic direction of the firm. Louise M. Ciavarra is stepping down as managing partner to focus on his law practice. Kinnard is a new associate in the firm’s business and finance practice area and also works in intellectual property. Mullin is now an associate in the litigation and employment group. He focuses on management representation in employment disputes. Nguyen is an associate in the litigation and employment group. She has a bachelor’s degree from the University of Pennsylvania and a J.D. from Boston College Law School. She lives in Worcester.

Holliston exhaust control systems company Rypos Inc. has appointed DON SIMONEAU as CFO. Simoneau has more than 23 years of experience in finance and operational leadership at high-tech companies. Most recently, he was the senior vice president of operations for Industrial Defender Inc., a cyber security firm.

Framingham packaging and printing company Sourcentra Inc. has hired MELISSA KELLY as a client experience expert. In her new position, Kelly will support the company’s sales team, manage projects internally and provide client services. She is a graduate of Becker College in Worcester and has worked in customer service.

SUSAN C. WYCKOFF, vice president for academic affairs at the Colleges of Worcester Consortium Inc., has been appointed to a three-year term on the American Council on Education’s Massachusetts Network of Women Leaders. Wyckoff has been vice president at the consortium since 2001. She is also a director for the New England Faculty Development Consortium.

Worcester and Westborough law firm Seder & Chandler LLP has hired HOWARD NOVICK to establish and lead its new software and information technology practice. Novick previously managed the legal department of Microsoft subsidiary Fast Search & Transfer. In his new position, he will work from Seder & Chandler’s Westborough office.

United Bank has hired HOWARD BREGMAN as a mortgage originator for the Worcester region. The bank also promoted KARA WIERSMA, JILL WARDLE and LORI KOSTIW. The West Springfield-based bank acquired Worcester’s Commonwealth National Bank last year. Bregman previously worked as a senior mortgage consultant at Community First Bank in Worcester. Wiersma, formerly assistant branch manager of Commonwealth’s Shrewsbury office, is now a personal banker at United’s Whitinsville office. Wardle and Kostiw, formerly branch managers at Commonwealth’s Whitinsville office, are now vice presidents and cash management specialists with United’s commercial banking team.

LAUREN B. SCHIFFMAN, a vice president at New York-based public relations and marketing firm Co-Communications Inc., is leading a new office in Westborough. The office opening marks the company’s entry into Massachusetts.
