MEGHANN ZACK was named director of business development and public relations for the Better Business Bureau of Central Massachusetts. She previously worked in account management for Access TCA. She has a bachelor’s degree in business management from Worcester State College and is pursuing an MBA at Nichols College in Dudley.

The Gardner nonprofit RCAP Solutions has hired RENEE PERDICARO as executive assistant to the president and CEO. The agency also promoted PAUL A. TEIXEIRARICHARD N. WATKINS to vice president and chief human resources officer, to executive vice president and chief human resources officer and SHARON DRAKE to human resources manager.

The Training Associates of West-borough has hired MIKE SIMARD as director of trainer services. Simard has worked in sales and management for more than 20 years, most recently as vice president of sales and marketing for a training organization working with the U.S. military.

Webster First Federal Credit Union has elected CHRISTOPHER P. DAOUST as chairman of its board of directors. Daoust is treasurer and CFO of Wood Pro Inc. in Auburn. He is also an Auburn resident. The credit union also named GARY LUKSHA, owner of One Stop Property Shop and Tax Tyme in Webster, as vice chairman.

Training Resources of America has promoted ROBIN R. HOOPER to Worcester site manager. In her new position, Hooper will oversee 13 education and career preparation programs for young people and adults. Hooper joined TRA in 2009 as an employment specialist.

Evergreen Solar Inc. of Marlborough has hired SCOTT GISH as vice president of sales and marketing. Before moving to Evergreen, Gish was vice president of global sales and business development at Photronics Inc. in Brookfield, Conn.

EMC Corp. of Hopkinton has hired TERRY BREEN, formerly of the high tech consulting and outsourcing firm Accenture, as its new senior vice president of strategic alliances. Breen had been with Accenture for 26 years, most recently as global managing partner for the company’s electronics and high tech industry practice.

Hudson-based Avidia Bank has promoted four employees: MAUREEN MARSHALL, commercial loan officer; GARY OLSON, assistant vice president of information technology and manager of the IT department; PATRICIA MCMASTER, loan underwriter and closing specialist; and THOMAS DOANE, assistant vice president of human resources.

SHAUN J. SPADA was named a loan originator at Marlborough Savings Bank. He was most recently employed by Cambridge Mortgage Group. He has worked in the sales and financial services world for a decade.

DEREK GRUETER, a former Central Massachusetts restaurateur, has joined the Spencer office of Whitinsville-based ERA Key Realty Services. Grueter has worked in the restaurant business for more than 10 years and still works with Ted’s Montana Grill in Westborough. He has a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Framingham State College.

The Milford National Bank and Trust Co. has hired SCOTT L. SCALES as vice president and trust department manager with MNB Investment & Trust Group. Scales previously served as a senior vice president at Citizens Investment Management Services of Providence, R.I., and Boston. He has also worked for New England Trust Co., Fidelity Management Trust Co. and State Street Bank & Trust Co.

Clinton Savings Bank has promoted CYNTHIA L. ALDEN and ELLEN J. MCGOVERN to senior vice president spots. Alden is now senior vice president and branch administrator with responsibility for customer service, sales and staffing at the bank’s branches and ATM locations. McGovern is senior vice president and director of marketing. She has been with the bank since 2002, when she was hired as assistant vice president and marketing director.

Literacy Volunteers of Greater Worcester has added two members to its board of directors: NORMAN PEDERSEN and LISA ANTONIOTTI. Pedersen, who retired from his job as a construction superintendent with F.W. Madigan Co. Inc., is also a tutor and teacher with the literacy organization. Antoniotti works at Commerce Bank as executive assistant in the office of the CEO.

AspenCross Financial Group of Westborough has brought 11 New England financial professionals under its umbrella, including JOSHUA M. FAULKNER and JUSTIN MERRILL of Fitchburg, JOHN A. GORDON of Franklin and STANLEY D. MUNCHERIAN of Acton.

The North Central Massachusetts Chamber of Commerce has named J. PAUL GAUVIN, president of Henri Enterprises, vice chairman of its board of directors. Gauvin runs the Henri School of Hair Design and W.S. Beauty Supply, both in Fitchburg. He is a member of the Fitchburg Rotary Club, the Fitchburg Library Board of trustees and the finance committee of the Sacred Heart Parish Church.
