Fidelity Bank in Leominster appointed 12 individuals to new roles. VERONICA MENESES, vice president and community banking manager in Ashburnham, will direct and communicate community banking initiatives. WILLIAM SPENCER, assistant vice president and relationship manager in Clinton, will create and maintain a business portfolio to meet client needs. LINDA CARMICHAEL, senior vice president of operations in Fitchburg, will direct all aspects of deposit operations. TERRENCE O’KANE, human resources manager in Fitchburg, will be responsible for payroll, benefits, and compensation. WANDA WALSH, vice president and collections manager in Lancaster, will work with legal counsel to oversee collection activities in compliance with bank and regulatory policies. EMILY DAUGHERTY, a marketing specialist in Leominster, will support the execution of marketing initiatives. BRETT FINNELL, a cash management representative in Leominster, will assist in client inquiries, implementation of, and training for cash management products and services. AMANDA PROKOWIEW, a systems analyst in Leominster, will provide technical support and customer service. JOSEPH CANEDO, a data analyst in Leominster, will identify performance indicators for information systems updates for customers. BRITTANY ROBERGE, a fraud specialist in Rutland, will work with clients to identify fraudulent activity. AMANDA MACKENZIE, a Bank Secrecy Act analyst in Winchendon, will support the implementation of the Bank Secrecy Act compliance program. MICHAEL RICHARD, vice president and banking center and business development manager in Worcester, will build and expand client relationships.
JAMES PETKEWICH has been promoted to executive vice president of St. Mary’s Credit Union in Marlborough, a role overseeing the retail branches, member solutions center, and facilities, and chairing the member experience committee. He previously served as senior vice president of retail services, holds a business administration degree from Providence College, and has worked in banking and financial services management for 38 years.
bankHometown in Oxford promoted four officers and named a new branch manager. TINA PUZO, vice president, branch officer of the Southbridge Street, Auburn office, will coordinate retail sales for several Central Massachusetts offices. She previously worked as branch manager for the Webster office and has more than 30 years of banking experience. DONNA DAIGLE, vice president, branch officer of the Sack Boulevard, Leominster office, will coordinate retail sales for five Worcester County locations. She has more than 40 years of banking experience and previously worked as an assistant vice president, branch officer. JOEL LAUREANO will be assistant vice president, branch officer of the Grove Street, Worcester office. He previously worked for Millbury Savings Bank prior to its merger with bankHometown and served as a branch manager for Bay State Savings Bank in Worcester and Citizens Bank. SUSAN COLLINS was promoted to assistant vice president, cash management sales officer at the Elm Street, Millbury office. She joined the bank in 2000 as a teller and has previously worked as assistant branch manager, branch manager, and cash management sales officer for bankHometown. ERIKA HEREDIA was named branch manager of the Main Street, Lancaster branch. She joined bankHometown in 2017 and was previously an assistant branch manager of the Grove Street, Worcester office.
Cornerstone Bank in Worcester celebrated JENNIFER ANDERSON for being ranked fifth on Banker & Tradesman’s list of top loan originators in Central and Western Massachusetts. Anderson, a vice president, mortgage loan officer, originated 155 mortgage loans in 2020. She has 17 years of experience and is a graduate of Babson College in Boston.
MutualOne Bank in Framingham promoted TYLER BAY to business banking relationship manager. He will manage business banking specialists and provide support to staff and customers. Bay previously worked as a business banking specialist and holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from UMass Dartmouth and an MBA from Assumption University in Worcester.
JAMES LANEY joined ERA Key Realty Services as a Realtor for the Spencer office. Laney earned a bachelor’s degree from Bridgewater State University and previously founded a podcast and managed a merchandise booth at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough.
ANTHONY DASILVA joined the Worcester law firm Mirick O’Connell as a partner in the business group. DaSilva will advise financial executives on compensation and benefits tax and regulatory issues along with mergers and acquisitions. He has more than 40 years of experience and was previously a shareholder at the Boston firm of Davis Malm.
