MARK HERLIHY of the Herlihy Insurance Group in Worcester was named a Legend of the Industry by the Home Builders & Remodelers Association of Massachusetts. The award was created in 2006 to recognize members across the state who drive change and innovation in the industry and who contribute to their communities.
BOB LEGER has been named senior vice president of treasury, asset, and liability management and investments at Workers Credit Union in Littleton. Leger brings 25 years of financial experience to his new role. He will oversee cash flows, liquidity models and simulations, investment portfolios, collateral, asset and liability management, pricing, and analytical reporting. He joins Workers from Infinity Federal Credit Union in Maine. He held chief financial officer roles at Town & Country Federal Credit Union and York County Federal Credit Union. He was controller of Aroma Joe’s Coffee in Maine.
ERIN THOMASON is now director of development at the Community Foundation of North Central Massachusetts. She has more than 15 years of banking and financial services experience, including in new business development. Her most recent role was as vice president and relationship manager at Berkshire Bank. A longtime resident of the North Central region, Thomason lives in Leominster and studied at Fitchburg State University.
WILL YAPP, a resident of Stow, has been promoted to chief revenue officer at Right Networks, a vertical cloud service provider based in Hudson, N.H. Yapp has run the organization’s sales and business development since 2017. Yapp has more than 30 years experience in building sales and business development teams and scaling revenue both directly and through partnerships.
UMass Memorial Health in Worcester has announced four new doctors. Dr. CHRISTOPHER DRISCOLL, an internal medicine and pediatrics specialist, is seeing patients at UMass Memorial Medical Center - University Campus. He earned his medical degree from Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences, University at Buffalo in New York, and completed an internal medicine/pediatrics residency and a pediatrics chief residency program at UMass Chan Medical School in Worcester.
Dr. ROBERT LE, a hospitalist, specializes in hospital medicine at UMass Memorial Medical Center - Memorial and University campuses, and at UMass Memorial Health - Marlborough Hospital. He earned his medical degree from the University of Central Florida and completed an internal medicine residency at UMass Chan Medical School. Gynecologist Dr. LUCY LIU is seeing patients at UMass Memorial Medical Center - Memorial Campus, and UMass Memorial Health at Northborough Crossing in Northborough. She is a graduate of Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, Missouri and completed a residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Barnes-Jewish Hospital, Washington University School of Medicine. She also completed a minimally invasive gynecologic surgery fellowship at Penn State’s Milton S. Hershey Medical Center in Hershey, Pennsylvania.
Dr. LAURIE PEARSON, an oncologist and internal medicine physician, specializes in internal medicine and oncology at the UMass Memorial Medical Center - University Campus and at HealthAlliance-Clinton Hospital-Fitchburg Campus. She earned her medical degree from Wake Forest University Bowman Gray Center for Medical Education in North Carolina and an internal medicine residency program, chief residency, and a hematology/oncology fellowship program at the Tufts Medical Center Graduate Medical Education Office in Boston.
ERA Key Realty Services of Northbridge has named JEFF TAYLOR as its new vice president of growth and development. Previously serving as its general manager, Taylor has worked for ERA since 2003, after graduating from Suffolk University in Boston with a degree in business management. In that time, he has served many roles, including company recruiter, sales manager for the ERA Westborough office, along with its Framingham office two years later, and co-manager of the ERA Key Foundation.
ERIN FOLEY joined Milford Regional Physical Group as a practitioner for its urogynecology division. Foley began her education in nursing at the MGH Institute of Health Professions and earned her bachelor’s degree from UMass Boston and master’s degree from Regis College. Foley worked at Brigham/Faulkner OB/GYN Associates for 13 years.
