Banjo Health of Northborough has named SHIVA KUMAR as its newest member of the board of advisors. Kumar previously served as chief strategy officer and head of business development for Watson Health at IBM from 2015-2020, worked for the consulting firm McKinsey & Co., and was an associate professor at Yale University’s Physics Department. As senior executive at IBM since 2003, he has pioneered analytics use to improve its revenue and profit performance, and co-founded and led teams at IBM Research to develop the capabilities of IBM Watson Health.

BARTON

CAROL BARTON, an attorney at Estate Preservation Law Offices in Worcester, has been named National Professional Advisor of the Year for 2020 by the American Cancer Society. Barton was one of two partners of the society’s planned giving team who are honored each year. Her association with the group began in 2008 as a volunteer at Hope Lodge in Worcester, and later grew into national roles, most recently as chair of the nationwide gift planning advisor council. She has been an associate attorney for Estate Preservation Law Offices since 2013.

DUPUIS

Millbury Federal Credit Union has promoted ELAINE DUPUIS to senior vice president and consumer credit manager, and KEVIN HAYES to senior vice president for retail banking and operations at its 50 Main St. branch in Millbury. Dupuis, of Millbury, began working at MCU as a teller and member service representative and was first promoted to mortgage officer in 1988. Hayes, of Holden, began working at MCU as an assistant branch manager in 2009 and was previously vice president for branch administration.

DIEBUS

ALLISON DIEBUS has rejoined Charles River Bank in Medway as marketing and customer engagement coordinator, responsible for marketing, sales and retail administration programs. She was previously a project-based marketing consultant with the Marketing Advisory Network. She has an MBA and a bachelor’s in marketing, communications and psychology from Bryant University in Rhode Island.

PICCIOTTO

JIM PICCIOTTO has joined Avidia Bank’s Framingham location as a vice president and commercial relationship officer. Picciotto has worked in lending for 33 years and banking for 11 years, most recently at The Cooperative Bank. He has a bachelor’s degree in business management from UMass Lowell.

MACAPINLAC

Bay State Savings Bank in Worcester promoted REX MACAPINLAC to assistant vice president of marketing, now responsible for overseeing the banks’ marketing operations, advertising campaigns, media distribution, and public relations activities. Macapinlac has his bachelor's degree in communications from Stonehill College in Easton, and started work at Bay State in 2017 as a marketing assistant where he received the 2018 employee of the year award, as well as was promoted to marketing officer in 2019.

SASSEVILLE

TRACY SASSEVILLE of GFA Federal Credit Union has been promoted to assistant vice president/regional branch manager at the Rutland and Hubbardston locations. She began at GFA as branch manager at the Parker Street location, and branched out to Rutland to accept the role of bank liaison. Sasseville will now continue to provide the knowledge and expertise she has gained over the past 23 years in banking.

BLODGETT

Worcester’s AdCare Hospital promoted registered nurse MICHAEL BLODGETT to director of care coordination. Blodgett has worked at AdCare since 2008 working in the nursing department, and later in case management as manager and high-risk discharge planner. He obtained his associates degree in nursing at New Hampshire Vocational Technical College and bachelor's degree in English literature from Keene State College in New Hampshire. Before joining AdCare, he worked for Stone Environmental Schools in East Madison, N.H. as a healthcare coordinator and held nursing positions at Brattleboro Retreat in Vermont and Concord Hospital in New Hampshire.

REILLY

IT consulting firm, Centrend, based in Worcester, has added member JOHN REILLY to its team. Reilly is set to work as a technology consultant for Centrend’s clients and tech support for Whiz Kid Support, Centrend’s division for consumers and home-based businesses. The Brimfield resident has already obtained his degree in IT security from Springfield Technical Community College, and is continuing his studies at Western New England University to receive his bachelor’s degree.

TOM ZIDELIS, the longtime former CFO for the City of Worcester, has joined Worcester’s Strategic Municipal Services consulting firm. Before his departure from the city last year, Zidelis helped guide the city to greater financial strength and stability during a time of diverse economic activity and opportunity. He now augments a team of financial professionals into the public sector.

COUGHLIN

Worcester law firm Fletcher Tilton PC announced BRIAN COUGHLIN and ADAM PONTE as directors at the firm. Practicing immigration law for 15 years, Coughlin specializes in all aspects of U.S. immigration law, including immigrant due diligence and risk management in connection with corporate mergers, acquisitions, restructuring, and startups. He aids employers across industries with manufacturing, IT, custom engineering, media, and healthcare. Coughlin now regularly assists clients in preparation for employment-based and family-based immigrant visa petitions, and applications for U.S. lawful permanent residence. Managing the firm’s Boston office, Ponte, a commercial litigation attorney, practices complex civil litigation, where he represents businesses and individuals in legal matters. Ponte negotiates both commercial and residential construction agreements, and ligitates on behalf of developers, owners, and contractors. He now counsels clients on numerous construction contracts, including those provided by the American Institute of Architects, Design-Build Institute of America, and ConsensusDocs.

GOYETTE-CONNERTY

The Worcester Regional Chamber of Commerce has named DOMINIQUE GOYETTE-CONNERTY its communications director and STEFANIE SILVA its program and events coordinator. Goyette-Connerty, whose duties include overseeing the chamber’s quarterly publication, was most recently a producer at Spectrum News in Worcester. She has a bachelor’s degree in communications media from Fitchburg State University. Silva plans and manages the chamber’s events, and joins with extensive hospitality and event planning experience. She has an associate’s degree in liberal studies from Worcester State University.

UMass Memorial Health Care has added three new doctors to its staff: vascular surgeon Dr. DOUGLAS JONES, hospitalist Dr. SHASHIDHAR MADIREDDY and hospitalist Dr. ADRIANA NEGRINI. Jones earned his medical degree from Dartmouth Medical School in New Hampshire, completed his residency at Cornell University in New York, and a surgery fellowship at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center – Harvard Medical School in Boston. He specializes in vascular surgery at the UMass Memorial Medical Center’s University Campus in Worcester, UMass Memorial Milford, and Harrington Healthcare in Charlton. Madireddy earned his medical degree from Osmania University in India, and completed his residency at East Tennessee State University – James H. Quillen College. He specializes in hospital medicine at UMass Memorial Medical Center’s Memorial Campus and Marlborough Hospital. Negrini earned her medical degree from UMass Medical School in Worcester and completed her internal medicine residency there. She specializes in hospital medicine at UMass Memorial Medical Center’s University and Memorial campuses.

BAER

AMANDA BAER of Boylston has been named a partner by Worcester law firm’s Mirick O'Connell in the labor, employment and employee benefits group. A graduate of Georgetown University Law Center, Baer joined the firm 10 years ago as an employment liguaitor. Baer advises employers on human resources issues, drafts handbooks and policies, leads manager-level training, and drafts all types of employment-related agreements. Bear defends employers against cases involving discrimination, harassment, wrongful termination, disability accomodation and wage and hours laws.

LadyBugz Interactive Agency in Southborough has made BILLIE KENYON its director of customer success. With a 10 years experience in sales and focusing on customer satisfaction, Kenyon will work with the team to find the right customers for the agency. Kenyon is set to work in Central Massachusetts and plans to find clients who seek to find the agency’s service beneficiary.

RAKIC

Rollstone Bank & Trust in Fitchburg has hired TONY RAKIC as its senior vice president for commercial lending. He previously worked for TD Bank and has 20 years experience in banking, business, contractors and real estate. Rakic has a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Worcester State University and an MBA from Clark University in Worcester.

LYNCH

Quality Beverages just promoted three members of its company in its Auburn office: KRISTIN LYNCH as director of administration, CRAIG COLONERO as division general manager and SHAUN BENTO as director of operation. Lynch is a graduate of New England University in Maine and has worked in the beer industry for 35 years. She served as an IT manager for the company. Lynch oversees day-to-day activities of the office operation. Colonero is a graduate of St. Anselm College in New Hampshire and was appointed to his previous position in 2017. He has 20 years experience of 20 years. Colonero manages the company’s regional sales force and marketing department. Bento served as a member of the U.S. Coast Guard before joining the company. He has worked in the beer industry since 1997 and now he oversees daily operations in the region as he was previously serving as inventory manager and team leader.

COLONNA

DEBORA COLONNA has been promoted as senior vice president and retail lending officer at Clinton Saving Bank. Colonna is a graduate of Bentley University in Waltham with a degree in business management. She joined CSB in 2010 and is a veteran of the financial service industry. Colonna joined the bank as a mortgage underwriter and has held a variety of positions, including underwriting manager, mortgage operation and vice president.

ALEXANDER

Worcester commercial real estate firm Kelleher & Sadowsky has hired the former Newmark managing partner TODD ALEXANDER to lead the retail segment. Alexander joined the real estate firm as the executive vice president and will provide service to tenants and landlords throughout New England. He earned his bachelor’s degree and master’s degree in business administration at Northeastern University in Boston. Alexander has 25 years of retail experience in providing services to tenants, landlords and developers, including with CVS, Marshalls, Ace Hardware, and Trader Joe’s. Alexander will help grow the firm’s presence in MetroWest across all asset types.

Nashoba Valley Chamber of Commerce has added ELLEN DOIRON to its professional staff as manager of membership services. Doiron is a graduate of Westford Academy and St Anselm College in New Hampshire. A small business owner, Doiron has served on the Shirley Board of Library Trustees, Finance Committee, Personnel Board, and Board of Selectmen.

CAVANAGH

RUTH CAVANAGH has been promoted to senior vice president and chief lending officer at Main Street Bank in Marlborough. Cavanagh is a graduate of UMass Lowell and attended Stonier Graduate School of Banking. Her experiences include loan workout, construction lending, and U.S. Small Business Association loans. Cavanagh joined the bank in 2012. Her new responsibilities include overseeing all aspects of lending at the bank in both commercial and retail lending.

Milford Federal Bank has appointed ALYCIA McCALLUM to mortgage loan specialist. With 22 years of experience in the residential mortgage industry, McCallum is active in the Corridor 9/495 Regional Chamber of Commerce and the Milford Area Chamber of Commerce.
