KAHA HIZANISHVILI has joined ForHealth Consulting at UMass Chan Medical School in Worcester, as associate executive vice chancellor, market growth and transformation. He will lead product development and environmental trend identification. Hizanishvili comes to ForHealth Consulting from the Massachusetts Executive Office of Health and Human Services, where he was chief of provider and pharmacy programs. Hizanishvili earned his MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University in Illinois and holds a master’s degree in law and diplomacy from Tufts University in Medford.
CHRISTOPHER RODWILL has joined Family Health Center of Worcester as the quality improvement education specialist. Rodwill will be responsible for optimizing care at the center. Prior to this role, he spent five years as an informatics nurse at UMass Memorial Health in Worcester and worked in primary care at Reliant Medical Group of Worcester. Rodwill began his education in nursing at the United States Army Academy of Health Sciences and completed a healthcare IT management graduate certificate at Worcester Polytechnic Institute.
KIM WALKER has been promoted to assistant director of nursing at AdCare Hospital in Worcester. She previously worked as a nurse manager at AdCare after rising through the ranks over eight years. This role is new at the hospital. Walker completed her nursing education at North Shore Community College in Danvers and Quinsigamond Community College in Worcester.
MARK BORENSTEIN and ANTHONY DRAGGA have been elected to partner at Worcester law firm Bowditch & Dewey. Borenstein, a land use and zoning attorney, started his education at UMass Amherst and went on to earn his law degree at Western New England University School of Law. Dragga works in Bowditch's estate, financial, and tax planning practice area. He earned his law and bachelors degree from Boston College, as well as a master’s degree in taxation from Boston University.
PIA CORDES and DOMINIQUE TOCK have been promoted at MutualOne Bank in Framingham. Cordes, who joined the bank in 2018, has been promoted to assistant vice president and branch manager where she will oversee the Natick branch office and retail training program. Tock has been promoted to core banking manager. Tock has been with MutualOne Bank since 2014, most recently as client services supervisor. She will now organize training initiatives and maintain communications with the bank’s core provider.
CHRISTIMARA GARCIA was hired by Framingham State University to lead the Entrepreneur Innovation Center. She will work with business students and faculty, as well as local entrepreneurs. Garcia is the founder of Catalyze Innovations Initiative, where she lead boot camp programs including one for entrepreneurs of color. Garcia earned her MBA from Fundação Getulio Vargas in Brazil and holds a graduate certificate from Babson College.
Dr. JONATHAN GREEN, Dr. SEONG YOON KIM, Dr. FNU NUTAN, and Dr. JUNGWON YOON are new doctors joining UMass Memorial Health in Worcester. Green completed his general surgery residency at UMass Chan Medical School in Worcester and will work as a pediatric surgeon. Kim completed his residency at MetroWest Medical Center in Framingham and specializes in internal medicine. Nutan completed a residency in dermatology from Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education & Research in Chandigarh, India, and an internal medicine residency program at MedStar Good Samaritan Hospital in Maryland. Yoon, an infectious disease specialist, most recently completed a fellowship at UMass Chan.
