Slowey McManus Communications of Boston hired BRITTANY MURPHY as a senior account executive. She is an alumna of Emerson College in Boston, where she received a degree in journalism. Prior to this she was at Western Mass News as the main anchor on morning and afternoon segments. Murphy will primarily work from Central Massachusetts and provide clients with a range of public relation services.
Webster Five hired IZZY CRUZ as assistant vice president, senior branch manager at its Shrewsbury branch. He earned his certificate in finance and credit from the Connecticut School of Finance and Management. Cruz holds more than 15 years of experience in the banking industry. In this role, he will oversee daily operations at the Shrewsbury branch and focus on business development and participating in community outreach.
Dr. ZIEV MOSES has joined the medical staff at Milford Regional Medical Center and is accepting new patients at UMass Memorial Surgery at Milford. Moses earned his medical degree from Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth College in New Hampshire. He completed a neurosurgery training program at Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Boston Children’s Hospital through Harvard Medical School, and fellowships in neurophysiology at Massachusetts General Hospital/Harvard Medical School and in neurosurgery at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago.
RemodelWerks of Shrewsbury hired GABBY BOLIVAR as the executive assistant to Vice President Andrew Gaspie. Bolivar is a graduate of Worcester State University. Prior to RemodelWerks, she was at California software company ServiceNow as an account development representative. In her new role, Bolivar supports production and is a project liaison helping clients.
North Brookfield Savings Bank hired JEFFRY KERR as vice president, marketing director. He earned his bachelor’s degree in management from Mass College of Liberal Arts, is a candidate for master’s in education from American International College in Springfield, and is a certified educator by the Massachusetts Department of Education. Before this role he served as the vice president of marketing for PeoplesBank and has more than 26 years of experience in marketing in the financial industry.
bankHometown of Oxford hired JANE W. LORANGER as vice president of commercial lending. She received her bachelor's degree in business administration from Clark University in Worcester and an MBA from UMass Boston. Loranger is a graduate of the New England School of Financial Studies. Previously, she was the vice president of nonprofit banking at People’s United Bank and has 14 years of experience in commercial banking.
Dr. LAURA TING joined Reliant Medical Group in Worcester in its Department of Family Medicine. She received her medical degree from UMass Medical School in Worcester. She completed her internship and residency at UMass in internal medicine and pediatrics.
Dr. JAMES ALDERMAN, a cardiologist at MetroWest Medical Center in Framingham, received the Community Clinician of the Year Award from the Massachusetts Medical Society. This award covers one of 20 regions in the state, with Dr. Alderman receiving the award for the Middlesex West District.
AdCare Hospital in Worcester recognized MARY W. KINGORI as the recipient of AdCare Hospital’s Excellence in Patient Care Award. She joined the nursing team in 2001 as a certified nursing assistant and went on to be a registered nurse, licensed practical nurse, nurse manager and nursing supervisor.
LUCY HALE, the president and CEO of the EcoTarium museum in Worcester, has been named to the board of directors of the Association of Science and Technology Centers, a group representing nearly 700 science and technology centers in 50 countries. Hale has led the EcoTarium since 2018 and previously served as the executive director of the Trinity River Audubon Center in Dallas.
