The Public Relations Society of America’s Greater Worcester Chapter has named the members of its 2025 board. KRISTINE MALONEY, vice president of TVP Communications, was appointed president; LAUREN HOWE, principal and owner of empHowered PR in Leominster, has been named immediate past president; CRISTAL STEUER, executive director of strategy and placement at TVP Communications, has been named president-elect; BRIDGET CAMPOLETTANO, director of communications at Amherst College, was appointed vice president; LORRAINE MARTINELLE, content manager at UMass Amherst, was appointed secretary; LISA SWANSON, vice president of marketing and communications at The Hanover Theatre & Conservatory for the Performing Arts in Worcester, was appointed treasurer, TIMOTHY HALLY, co-founder of Munq in Worcester, was appointed membership chair, CAITLIN LUBELCZYK, vice president of marketing and communications at the Worcester Regional Chamber of Commerce, was appointed programming chair, and KATHLEEN DEAL, owner of Elevated Graphic Designs, was appointed director at large.

BASIL STEWART and MARLY NORRIS

BASIL STEWART and MARLY NORRIS have been appointed to the leadership team at Dean College in Franklin. Stewart joins Dean as vice president for financial services and treasurer, having most recently served as vice president for finance and administration/chief financial officer and assistant treasurer at Western New England University in Springfield. Throughout his career, Stewart has served in senior finance positions within several higher education institutions including Lasell University in Newton, Merrimack College in North Andover, Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Cambridge, and Northeastern University in Boston. He earned his master’s and bachelor’s degrees from UMass Amherst. Norris assumed her new role as Dean’s vice president for institutional advancement, having most recently served as vice president of advancement at the State University of New York’s Empire State University and executive director of the SUNY Empire Foundation. Before joining the SUNY system, Norris worked as vice president for advancement and public affairs for Dominican University of California and has held leadership roles at University of San Francisco, the Smithsonian Institution in Washington, D.C., and the University of California, Berkeley. Norris graduated with two bachelor’s degrees from University of Missouri-Columbia and her master’s degree from Saint Mary’s College of California.

TOM SCANNELL

Bowditch & Dewey has re-hired TOM SCANNELL as an attorney at the Worcester-based law firm. Scannell began his 38-year career in law with Bowditch and has since practiced litigation, trial, arbitration, and mediation throughout both commercial and business disputes. He is a graduate of Suffolk University Law School in Boston and earned his bachelor’s degree from the College of the Holy Cross in Worcester.

TIM SHEA has been named regional sales manager of the Natick-based Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Commonwealth Real Estate’s Lexington, Winchester, and Reading offices. With more than 20 years of realty leadership experience, Shea comes to his new role having most recently worked as team leader/CEO at Texas-based Keller Williams Realty Evolution, overseeing a cohort of more than 300 agents throughout five offices. Shea earned his MBA from Cambridge College in Charlestown.

Dr. ANGELA CASADO-DIAZ

Dr. ANGELA CASADO-DIAZ has joined Milford Regional Physician Group’s Blackstone Valley Family Physicians in Northbridge. Casado-Diaz comes to MRPG having most recently served as a family medicine physician at Mercy Hospital Springfield in Missouri. She graduated with her medical degree from Ross University School of Medicine in Barbados and completed her family medicine residency at UMass Memorial HealthAlliance-Clinton Hospital’s Fitchburg campus.
