JENNIFER KAMOCSAY has been named general counsel at Akoya Biosciences in Marlborough. As head of the legal department, Kamocsay will oversee corporate governance, legal activities, and advise on strategic initiatives. She was previously in the same role at Rubius Therapeutics in Cambridge. Kamocsay earned her undergraduate degree from UCLA and her law degree from Northeastern University School of Law in Boston.
VERONICA ERASQUIN is now senior director of inpatient services at Milford Regional Medical Center. Erasquin will be responsible for managing medical-surgical units, the intensive care unit, clinical supervisors, and the nursing staffing office. Erasquin assumes the role after having been the nurse director of the surgical intensive care unit for the Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston. Erasquin received her doctor of nursing practice degree from the MGH Institute of Health Professions in Boston, and she holds a master’s degree in nursing from Framingham State University and a bachelor's degree in nursing from Far Eastern University in the Philippines.
HAMILTON SORIANO and MARK WILLIAMS have joined the board of directors at Open Sky Community Services in Worcester; KEVIN HUNT has rejoined the board after serving from 2016-2021. Soriano is a Worcester-based financial advisor with Edward Jones and holds a degree in economics from UMass Amherst. Williams is an associate professor of behavioral science at Fitchburg State University. He earned his bachelor's degree from Kentucky Wesleyan College, his master of divinity degree from Vanderbilt University in Tennessee, and his masters in social work and PhD from the University of Washington. Hunt is CFO for Worcester Restaurant Group and earned his degree in actuarial mathematics from Worcester Polytechnic Institute.
DAVID CARDOSO, YVES MUNYANKINDI, and CHERYL SUAREZ have been promoted to the assistant vice president level at MutualOne Bank in Framingham. Cardoso will continue his previous role as information technology manager at the bank, where he has been employed since 2020. In this expanded position, he will oversee the IT department and strategic planning related to technical services. Cardoso holds a degree in business administration management from Central State University. Munyankindi will be in the role of assistant vice president, retail support and float branch manager. He joined the bank in 2015 and was formerly retail support manager. Munyankindi holds a bachelor's degree in finance from the University of Rwanda and is a graduate of the New England School of Financial Studies. Suarez has been promoted to assistant vice president, deposit operations manager at the bank. She joined MutualOne in 2012 and will now oversee branch operational activities. Suarez is a graduate of the New England School for Financial Studies.
BRENDA FISHLOCK has been promoted to first vice president, compliance and Bank Secrecy Act officer at MutualOne Bank in Framingham. Fishlock has been at the bank since 2018 and formerly served as vice president. Fishlock will continue her responsibilities of overseeing the institution’s Bank Secrecy Act program, as well as ensuring compliance. Fishlock previously worked for Milford National Bank.
Consigli Construction promoted GEOFF KRAMER to director of project development. Kramer previously led the life science project development process at Milford-based Consigli. Formerly a public school teacher, Kramer worked in the nonprofit sector before joining Consigli in 2017. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Tufts University in Medford and an MBA from Boston College.
KIP PATERSON has been hired as human resources director at Athol manufacturer L.S. Starrett Company. He previously held the same title at Paradigm Precision in Manchester, Connecticut, and Saint-Gobain Abrasives in Worcester. Paterson earned a bachelor's degree in public management from the University of Maine.
Grafton nonprofit Community Harvest Project has promoted DAVE JOHNSON to manager of farm operations at both the Grafton and Harvard locations. Johnson will direct agricultural operations and supervise volunteer management in this expanded role. Johnson joined CHP in 2018 with 10 years of experience in the farming industry and food system.
Milford Regional Physician Group has added Dr. KAREN JENG to see patients at the Caring for Women center in Milford. Jeng is an obstetrician/gynecologist and previously worked with the physician group before spending the past 13 years at UMass Memorial Medical Group in Worcester. She received her medical degree from Baylor College of Medicine in Houston as well as an MBA from University of Texas at Austin. Jeng is additionally an assistant professor at UMass Chan Medical School in Worcester and holds a master’s degree in legal studies from Washington University in St. Louis.
SHELLY SHAW has joined the board of directors at Discovery Museum in Acton. Shaw is vice president, associate general counsel at Analog Devices in Boston and was formerly employed at Florida software firm Citrix Systems. Shaw received her bachelor's degree in chemical engineering from Michigan State University and her law degree from the University of New Hampshire Franklin Pierce School of Law.
SHELBY HUTCHINSON has been promoted to executive administrator at Reliant Foundation in Worcester. In the role, she will be involved in operations support, program coordination, marketing, and development. Hutchinson has been involved with the foundation since 2020 and previously worked at Family Health Center of Worcester and the Be Like Brit Foundation in Worcester. Hutchinson attended Doherty Memorial High School in Worcester and is a local real estate agent and photographer, in addition to her role at Reliant.
