Marlborough-based Wyebot has hired TERESA GOIRI as vice president of finance and HARRY STEVENS as director of sales for wireless intelligence platform in the Europe, Middle East, and Africa region. Goiri previously worked for London professional services firm Ernst & Young, overseeing corporation audits. In her role at Wyebot, she will be responsible for financial functions including accounting and financial planning. She earned her bachelor's degree from Deusto Business School in Bilbao, Spain, and holds an MBA from IE University in Spain. Stevens will run strategic partnerships and end-user sales and joins Wyebot from California tech firm Nomadix. He earned his bachelor's degree from Avans University of Applied Science in the Netherlands.
Venture Community Services in Sturbridge named KALIE HERNANDEZ as a new case manager. Hernandez attended Bay Path Practical Nursing Academy, where she received the Community Service Award for contributions to Worcester County. In her new role at the nonprofit, she will participate in audits and lead day rehabilitation and case management. She previously worked for Holyoke Public Schools.
MARK LUSSIER and PATRICIA SMITH have joined the leadership team at Cornerstone Bank in Worcester. Lussier will serve as vice president of retail sales, having previously held senior roles at financial institutions in Philadelphia. He holds a bachelor’s degree in business management from the University of Phoenix. Smith will be the Webster branch vice president and senior market manager. She joins Cornerstone Bank with a bachelor’s degree from Assumption University in Worcester.
TYLER BAY has been promoted to assistant vice president, business banking relationship manager at MutualOne Bank in Framingham. Bay joined the bank in 2018 after working at Boston financial giant State Street Corp. He holds an MBA from Assumption University in Worcester and a bachelor’s degree in accounting from UMass Dartmouth. In his new role, Bay will manage the business banking specialists and provide business service support to customers and branch staff.
Dr. STANLEY SWIERZEWSKI has joined UMass Memorial Health – Harrington at its urology practice in Charlton. He was previously chief of surgery at Holyoke Medical Center, before which he was the director of urology. Swierzewski earned his medical degree from Tufts University School of Medicine in Boston, where he serves as an assistant clinical professor. He completed his residency in urology at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor.
RYAN MURPHY has been named vice president of advancement at Anna Maria College in Paxton. Murphy was previously at the College of the Holy Cross, where he solicited major gifts and planned gifts for the advancement team. Murphy holds a bachelor's degree and an MBA from Assumption University in Worcester, as well as a master’s degree in organizational leadership from Nichols College in Dudley.
Four wealth advisors at Bartholomew & Co. in Worcester have been named 2023 Five Star Wealth Managers. THOMAS BARTHOLOMEW, DORY HUARD, and JOSHUA PAUL are receiving the award for the seventh consecutive year; JAMES CUSHMAN joined the firm in 2018 and is receiving the award for the first time.
JOE REGAN has joined MutualOne Bank in Framingham as chief financial officer. Regan will manage the bank’s finances and participate in strategic planning. Regan was previously principal accounting officer at Boston Private. Regan, a certified public accountant, holds an MBA and a bachelor’s degree from UMass Lowell.
