TRACY RILEY has been named the director of wellness by Worcester Fitness. She will be responsible for designing and implementing fitness and wellness programs, along with overseeing a team of group exercise instructors and personal trainers. Riley has had more than a decade of experience in the fitness field with Worcester Fitness and is responsible for a multitude of its training programs.
NATE BURNES has been promoted to vice president of customer success of Natick software firm Centage Corp. He will create and roll out customer-facing events, establish an advisory board and user groups designed to strengthen relationships with customers, and make sure Centage grows and evolves in ways beneficial for the customers’ needs. Previous to his promotion, Burnes served as the director of product management at Centage. He received an MBA from Cornell University in New York.
Anna Maria College in Paxton has promoted MICHAEL MIERS to vice president for administration and chief administration officer and ALEX MOWATT to vice president for finance and chief financial officer. Miers has been an employee of Anna Maria College for more than 17 years, with his most recent obligation being chief information officer and data security coordinator. He will now be responsible for dining services, events, and human resources. Mowatt has worked for Anna Maria College for nearly five years as the director of finance, previously serving in the U.S. Army Reserve running logistics for eight years. Miers received a bachelor’s degree in music and an MBA from Anna Maria College, and Mowatt received his bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Phoenix.
ANDREA SANTIAGO has been hired by Clinton Savings Bank to be the new vice president and branch manager of the main office in Clinton. Prior to her employment by Clinton, Santiago worked for Santander Bank as a branch manager and has gained more than 14 years of banking experience. She received an MBA from Assumption College in Worcester and lives with her husband of 15 years and their 2-year-old son, Lucas.
PETER ROVEZZI has been named senior vice president of strategic sales at Bay State Savings Bank in Worcester. With his new role, Rovezzi will lead the staff as they increase production and further enhance Bay State Savings Bank’s customer experience. He has more than 16 years of experience in the Central Massachusetts banking field, with multiple high ranking positions at Bay State.
BARBRA LYNCH has been promoted to assistant director of professional development and research at Behavioral Concepts, Inc., a Worcester company of behavioral clinicians specializing in the care of children with autism spectrum disorder. Lynch will develop, design, and oversee pre-service training and BCI’s regional trainers. She is a licensed applied behavior analyst. Prior to BCI, Lynch worked as director of training and quality assurance at a private after-school agency in Worcester.
Dr. FARAH KHAN has been appointed as medical director of primary care for Tenet Physician Resources for Tenent Physician Resources at Saint Vincent Medical Group in Shrewsbury, where she will lead strategy and recruitment efforts. Khan received her medical degree from Tufts University School of Medicine in Boston and completed her residency at the UMass Medical School in Worcester.
UMass Memorial Health Care in Worcester has hired internal and hospital medicine physician Dr. JORGJETA BUKLI, neuropsychologist ERIKA CLARK, and family medicine physicians KASTOORI IYENGAR and MELISSA DIANE McKEE. Bukli earned her medical degree from the University of Tirana in Albania and completed her residency in internal medicine at New York Downtown Hospital. Clark earned her degree from Suffolk University in Boston and completed an internal medicine residency program at Edith Nourse Rogers Memorial VA Medical Center in Bedford. Iyengar received her medical degree from Mahatma Gandhi Memorial Medical College in Indore, India. She completed her family medicine residency program at UMass Medical School in Worcester. McKee earned her medical degree from the University of Tennessee College of Medicine in Memphis, Tenn. and completed her family medicine residency program at UMass Medical School.
