NICOLE ZOMPA has joined AAFCPAs in Westborough as commercial audit partner. In her new role, Zompa will advise the firm’s commercial clients including early-stage venture-backed companies, family-owned and private-equity-owned companies, and mid-sized multinational SEC registrants. She will help bring business to the firm’s commercial practice. She has more than 18 years of experience in technical accounting and has advised clients in financial reporting, mergers, acquisitions and public offerings.
IQRA JAVEED has joined the endocrinology department at Saint Vincent Hospital in Worcester and is seeing new patients. She is a graduate of Drexel University College of Medicine in Philadelphia and completed a fellowship in endocrinology at Tufts Medical Center in Boston. She also completed a residency in internal medicine at Rutgers-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in New Brunswick, N.J. She will provide a wide range of services including including diagnosis, management and treatment of diabetes, thyroid, pituitary, adrenal disorders and osteoporosis. Javeed is also board certified in internal medicine and a member of several professional societies, including the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists, the American Diabetes Association, and the American Thyroid Association.
NICOLE LEONE has been promoted to cash management sales analyst, a new position, at Fidelity Bank in Leominster. She has been with Fidelity since 2012 and has since served as a branch services supervisor, commercial banking relationship assistant, cash management operations analyst and cash management analyst. In her new role, she will build data-driven actions for the full life cycle of cash management services for the bank’s small business customers. Leone is a graduate of Endicott College and lives in Worcester.
GERALD OVERSTREET has been hired as category manager for drywall and masonry products at Hyde Group in Southbridge. He joins Hyde from the Weiler Corporation in Cresco, Pa., where he was national sales and market manager for hardware and construction distribution. He has 22 years of experience in product, sales and management positions in the channels the company engages. He is a graduate of the U.S. Military Academy and holds a masters in business administration from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
CLAUDIA PIETREWICZ has joined UniBank in Whitinsville as branch officer and branch manager at the bank’s Milford location. She is responsible for operations and growth and development of business and consumer relations at the branch. She has nine years of banking experience, most recently as financial center operations manager at Bank of America in Westborough. She holds a juris doctorate from Universidade Federal de Vicosa in Brazil and is fluent in Portuguese and Spanish.
