NANCY S. ROBERTS is the new associate vice president and branch manager for the two Webster branches of bankHometown. Roberts, of Danielson, Conn., was formerly the vice president and business development branch manager at Eastern Savings Bank, along with previous roles at First Niagara Bank and People's United Bank.
MARNIE P. WEIR has been appointed the director of education and experience at the Worcester Art Museum. Weir, a Worcester native, joins the museum from the Cathedral Church of St. John the Divine in New York City, where she was director of public education and visitor services. Her term at the Worcester Art Museum will begin Oct. 22. Weir will succeed MARCIA LAGERWEY, who will begin working part-time after serving for more than 30 years in education and audience engagement for the museum.
KATHRYN MAIER has joined the family practice at Reliant Medical Group and is welcoming new patients at Reliant's Holden office. Maier received her medical degree from New York Medical College and completed her residency at UMass Medical Center's Barre Family Health Center in Barre. Before joining Reliant Medical Group, she was on staff at Sterling Family Practice in Sterling.
JENNIFER LITCHFIELD has been named assistant dean of nursing at the School of Nursing & Health Sciences, overseeing the college's nursing program, for Becker College in Worcester. Litchfield, a Becker alumna and lifelong resident of Shrewsbury, was previously an assistant professor and coordinator of nursing education and technology at Regis College in Weston. Litchfield is pursuing her doctor of nursing practice degree, with a concentration in nursing education, at Regis. She holds both a bachelor's degree and a master's degree, with a concentration in nursing education, from Framingham State University.
CAROLYN LANGER, a senior vice president and chief medical officer at Fallon Health, has been named the chair of the board of directors at Meyers Primary Care Institute in Worcester. The institute is a joint venture among the UMass Medical School, Reliant Medical Group and Fallon Health. Langer, who was Fallon's medical director from 2005 to 2008, returned to Fallon this summer to take on her new SVP & CMO role.
The Worcester Railers minor league hockey team, playing in the DCU Center, has promoted MICHAEL FISHER to vice president of ticket sales and hockey club members and added two new members of its front office staff: JACQUELINE AVOLA as the corporate fulfillment coordinator, and DAVID SALTER as chief scout for Canada's Atlantic provinces. Fisher joined the Railers in 2016, Avola is a former Railers intern and part-time staff member, and Salter most recently served as director of communications for the St. John's IceCaps in Canada.
DAVE STEVENS has been named the new director of sales and marketing for the Northbridge-based welded wire mesh manufacturer Riverdale Mills. In his new role, Stevens is responsible for domestic and worldwide sales and marketing of the company's 3,500 product configurations for the marine, security, construction and agriculture industries. Stevens, a military veteran who joined Riverdale Mills in 2017 as director of training and project management, formerly held senior management positions with big-box retailers Target, Starbucks, Meijer and manufacturer Triple-T Truck Centers.
