Dr. Julie Alosi

DR. BRIAN BURROUGHS and DR. JULIE A. ALOSI were hired by Reliant Medical Group in Worcester. Burroughs has joined the department of orthopedic and reconstructive surgery and will practice at Saint Vincent Hospital. He earned his medical degree from Boston University and completed his residency at UMass Medical School in Worcester, followed by a fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital. Alosi will practice surgical oncology and general surgery at Saint Vincent as a member of the department of surgical specialties. She earned her medical degree from the University of Vermont, followed by a residency at Fletcher Allen Health Care in Burlington, Vt., then a fellowship at Roswell Park Cancer Institute in Buffalo, N.Y.

DR. CESAR AGUILAR LOPEZ and DR. MAE WOLSLEGEL were also hired by Reliant.Aguilar Lopez, who is board certified, has joined the pulmonary and critical care division, practicing at Saint Vincent Hospital. He earned his medical degree from Pontificia Universidad Javeriana Facultad de Medicina in Bogota, Colombia. He then did an internship and residency at the Hospital of Saint Raphael in New Haven, Conn, followed by fellowships at Norwalk Hospital in Norwalk, Conn., and Yale New Haven Hospital. Wolslegel is a member of Reliant's department of internal medicine and will practice at the Webster location.  She earned her medical degree from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. She then completed her internship at Frankford Hospital, followed by a residency at Aria Hospital, both in Philadelphia. Wolslegel is board certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Internal Medicine.

RAHNUMA HABIB, KIMBERLY SAMBUCHI and GEORGE GILROY, all employees of Framingham-based MutualOne Bank, were elected to new officer positions by the bank's board of directors. Habib was elected to vice president and will oversee human resources and training. She joined the bank as a teller in 1998 and advanced to human resources coordinator, then HR manager. Habib, of Ashland, was elected assistant vice president in 2012. She earned two bachelor's degrees from Phoenix University, where she also received a master's degree. Sambuchi will oversee operations, electronic banking and client services as a vice president. She was elected assistant vice president in 2012. A Framingham resident, she began at the bank in 2002 as a teller before working her way up to eBanking manager. She earned a bachelor's degree from Boston University and a master's in business administration from Framingham State. Gilroy, of Natick, formerly and IT specialist, is now a technology officer and assistant vice president. He joined the bank in 2012 and had previously worked with John Hancock Financial Services, MODIS IT and IBM.

HEATHER M. BORELLI was promoted to instructional designer and technologist for Seven Hills Foundation's Corporate College, in Worcester. She will continue in her oversight role with Seven Hills' eAcademy, managing upgrades and integration, among other duties. Borelli holds a bachelor's degree from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, and a master's from Walden University, based in Minneapolis.

DR. JYOTIKABEN N. PATEL, a psychiatrist, has joined Harrington Outpatient Behavioral Health Services, and will be working with adult patients at offices in Southbridge, Dudley and Charlton. She most recently worked at Saint Vincent Hospital as chief of the psychiatric unit. Patel is also a faculty member at UMass Medical School.  She previously worked as medical director and chief of psychiatry at Westborough State Hospital.

MARIANNE SABELLA DEMPSEY was hired by Westborough-based Rainier Communications as a senior account manager, responsible for leading account teams for select clients. She previously worked at Version 2.0, Carlton PR & Marketing, and at her own consultancy, Sabella Communications. Dempsey is a graduate of Boston University and holds a bachelor's degree in communications.

PHILIP WARNER was hired by Auburn-based environmental consulting firm HRP Associates Inc., as a project manager. He was previously principal hydrogeologist at Hydro-Geo-Chemical Environmental Consultants, headquartered in Tuscon, Ariz. Warner is a graduate of Livingston College/Rutgers University in New Brunswick, N.J., and earned a master's degree from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
 
DR. DAVID ERANI, an endocrinologist, was hired by Harrington Physician Services in Sturbridge, part of Harrington HealthCare System. He most recently served as director of medical programs at the Joslin Diabetes Center in Boston, and provided medical leadership to Joslin-affiliate centers across the U.S. After earning his medical degree from New York University, he completed a residency at New York Presbyterian Hospital in New York City and a fellowship at Harvard Medical School/Longwood Medical Area Training Program in Boston. Prior to his work in Boston, Erani was medical director for the Joslin Diabetes Center in Houston.

RICHARD W. LAVEY was appointed by Worcester-based Hanover Insurance Group as president of personal lines. He will continue to serve as the company's chief marketing officer. Lavey has held many leadership positions since joining the company in 2004, including president of the Northeast region. He previously held marketing roles at The Hartford and Travelers. Lavey is a graduate of the College of the Holy Cross and holds an MBA from Harvard University.
 
LARISSA C. THURSTON has been hired as chief financial officer and senior vice president of finance at St. Mary's Credit Union of Marlborough. The resident of Hudson, N.H., served as vice president and controller of Bank of New England in southern New Hampshire.
