TARA D'ANDREA, CATHERINE CRUZ and KIMBERLY A. NEMEROFF were hired by Holden-based Oriol Health Care. D'Andrea, a graduate of Worcester State University, will serve as administrator of Holden Rehabilitation & Skilled Nursing Center. She has served as a licensed nursing home administrator for the last nine years. Cruz, a grief counselor and Worcester resident, has joined the Holden Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing Center social services staff. Nemeroff, of West Brookfield, will join the Oriol admissions team as a clinical liaison.
GLYNDA BENHAM, president of MegaWave Corp. in Devens, was elected to a three-year term on the Mass Humanities Board of Directors. Benham, who holds three patents, holds a master's degree in engineering science from the University of Oxford in England. Based in Northampton, Mass Humanities supports programs that use humanities disciplines to enhance and improve civic life throughout the state.
ANTHONY BARTLETT, a financial planner with Baystate Financial in Worcester, was elected secretary of the Society of Financial Service Professionals. He served on the national board from 2010 to 2012. Bartlett, of Northbridge, is a graduate of Springfield College.
RICHARD RAMPONI was hired by Interbit Data of Natick, a health-care software and services company, as an account manager. He was previously an inside sales account manager with the MEDITECH Solutions Group at Dell Services for 10 years. Ramponi previously held sales positions with IMlogic and Softmart, and spent eight years with Corporate Software as manager of its business development team.
BIPIN MISTRY was named vice president of product management at Corero Network Security in Hudson. Most recently, Mistry was chief mobility architect for Juniper Networks, and has also held positions at Cisco Systems. Among patents he holds is one in API structure and interfaces specifically tied to mobile monetization.
JUANITA ALLEN KINGSLEY joined the executive committee of Casa Myrna of Boston. She is director of business development for Century Health Systems of Natick, parent company of The Natick Visiting Nurse Association. Kingsley will be vice president and chair of fund development for the nonprofit, which works to end domestic and dating violence. The group also runs SafeLink, the state's domestic violence hotline. Kingsley holds a bachelor's degree in business administration from Boston University.
JASON PALITSCH of Shrewsbury was named to the board of directors of Training Resources Inc. of Worcester. He is a government and public affairs specialist for the Veterans Inc. of Worcester. Palitsch earned a bachelor's degree in political science from Northeastern University.
TIM O'LEARY was hired by Leominster Credit Union as a mortgage lending officer. The Fitchburg resident previously was a mortgage originator at Rollstone Bank & Trust.
CLARICE SANTOS, JULIE MORIN, MELISSA ROBERTS and CHERYL SUAREZ were promoted at Framingham's MutualOne Bank. Santos, assistant manager of the Concord Street branch in Framingham, is now manager of client services. A Framingham resident, she graduated from Framingham State University. Morin, senior account representative since 2012, is now assistant manager of client services. A graduate of Regis College in Weston, she joined the bank as a teller in 2007. Roberts was promoted from operations specialist – a post she held since 2011 – to compliance specialist. She has a bachelor's degree in travel and tourism/hospitality administration from Lasell College. Suarez, assistant branch manager at Concord Street, is now operations manager. She joined the bank as a teller in 2012, having previously worked for TD Bank.
MELISSA A. CLIFTON was promoted to senior mortgage originator at Fitchburg-based Workers' Credit Union. The Fitchburg resident was previously a financial service representative for the credit union.
JACKIE L. CAYNON III was hired as a partner, co-chair of the health law team and a member of the business team of Mirick O'Connell. He will work from the firm's Westborough office. Caynon has over 18 years of experience in health care law, most recently as senior vice president and general counsel for Southcoast Health System in New Bedford. Caynon earned his bachelor's degree from the University of Maryland University College in Largo, and his juris doctorate from Yale Law School.
DONNA RUGGLES and KRISTI MENDOZA were hired at The Highlands of Fitchburg, a skilled nursing and rehabilitation center. Ruggles, director of nursing, most recently worked for Montachusett Home Care in Leominster. She's a registered nurse and certified rehabilitation nurse. Mendoza is the new program director for the facility's Alzheimer's unit, Garden Unit. She served for 17 years as program director for the dementia care unit at River Terrace Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Lancaster. Both are residents of Lunenburg.
ADAM GILLETTE, WARREN IZYK, JENNIFER PLASSMANN, JOSEPH DEADY and SAMANTHA LAVALLEY have all been promoted to assistant branch manager positions with North Brookfield Savings Bank. Gillette, with the bank for 12 years, is the new assistant branch manager in East Brookfield. Izyk, the new assistant branch manager in Belchertown, has been with the bank for eight years. Plassmann was promoted to Ware assistant manager, Deady to the same position in Three Rivers, and Lavalley in West Brookfield. All three came to the bank as a result of its merger with FamilyFirst Bank in June.
CHRIS CIUKAJ and MICHELLE SULLIVAN were hired by Southbridge Credit Union as loan originators. Ciukaj earned a bachelor's degree in finance at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. Sullivan has 26 years of experience in financing and loan originations. Also at SCU, Assistant Loan Manager

DEBORAH THOMPSON has been hired as corporate sales manager at Worcester's Beechwood Hotel. She previously was manager of member services at the Worcester Regional Chamber of Commerce, where she had started as a sales executive. Thompson also was a sales manager for True North Hotel Group, and before was director of sales and general manager of the Hampton Inn in Auburn.
PAUL TONELLI has been named creative director at Sturbridge-based smith&jones, a marketing and corporate branding agency. He comes to smith&jones after 10 years in a similar capacity at Digitas, based in New York and London. He also worked at the Boston advertising firm Hill Holiday.
