Cardiologist DR. NICOLE LYNN FILLIPON was hired by Harrington HealthCare System of Southbridge. As part of Harrington Physician Services, she will be based at the Harrington Hospital campus and will have office hours at offices in Webster and Spencer. She received her medical degree from the University of New England in Biddeford, Maine, and completed her internship and residency at Saint Vincent Hospital.
JAMES QUITADAMO, KAREN M. YACINO and RYAN F. BUCKLEY have been promoted by UniBank. Quitadamo, senior credit officer, was promoted to senior vice president. He has been with the bank for eight years and holds a bachelor's degree in economics from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. Yacino, Douglas branch manager, was promoted to assistant vice president. She has been with the bank for 10 years and has more than three decades of banking experience. Buckley, chief information officer, was promoted to senior vice president. A six-year bank employee, he earned a bachelor's degree in business administration and MIS/IT from University of Massachusetts Lowell.
LORA-LYNN M. WILLIAMS was hired by Shrewsbury-based McLaren & Associates CPAs as an office manager and bookkeeper. Her background is in bookkeeping, financial data tracking, database management and office administration. She previously worked at Fletcher Tilton PC in Worcester as an accounting assistant, and at Longden Co. in Hudson.
TRICIA GERVASI was hired as a human resource manager at Murphy Insurance Agency, based in Hudson. The Auburn resident holds a bachelor's degree from Bentley University.
Office managers HOWARD CARNEY, MINA CHEBBANI, BRENDAN GALLAGHER, CHRISTOPHER KALIL, DANIEL McELHINNEY and DANA SPOONER were all promoted to assistant vice president by Commerce Bank in Worcester. Carney, a graduate of Providence College who has been with the bank since 2003, was promoted to manager of the Lincoln Street, Worcester, office in 2012. Chebbani, of Worcester and manager of the Webster office, joined the bank last year. Gallagher, of Ayer, manager of the Leominster office, is a graduate of Assumption College. Kalil joined the bank last year as manager of the Shrewsbury office. He holds a bachelor's degree from Merrimack College in finance and economics. McElhinney, of Framingham, joined the bank this year as manager of the Brighton office. He has 26 years in banking. Spooner, a Marlborough resident hired by the bank last year, manages the Main Street, Worcester office.
KIM FAUCHER, KRISTEN AUCLAIR and PATRICIA CORR were hired by The McCurdy Group of Sturbridge, an insurance and financial planning agency. Faucher, of Spencer, is a personal lines account representative. Auclair, a Southbridge resident, is a commercial lines account executive. She previously worked at Liberty Mutual. Corr is a commercial lines representative who was previously employed by insurance agencies in Hallowell, Maine, and Brockton.
JON MEHLMANN was promoted to area manager by True North Hotel Group for the company's Devens properties: SpringHill Suites by Marriott, Devens Common Center and Hilton Garden Inn. Mehlmann, of Marlborough, has been with the company for 12 years. He takes the position formerly held by Maura Peeler, who was promoted to regional vice president of operations. True North is based in Overland Park, Kan.
FRAN KING was promoted to manager of operations by Aquarion Water Co. for the Oxford and Millbury water systems. He has operated the two systems for 29 years, most recently serving as foreman.
JANE E. FONTAINE and CALEB J. COOK have been hired by Marlborough-based Digital Federal Credit Union. Fontaine will be vice president of human resources and training. She most recently served as vice president of human resources at Marlborough Hospital. Fontaine holds a bachelor's degree in business administration and a master's in management from Johnson & Wales University. She also has a master's degree in health administration from St. Joseph's College in Standish, Maine. Cook was named vice president of mortgage lending. For the past three years, he worked at Seattle Metropolitan Credit Union as vice president of lending. He holds a bachelor's degree in sociology, community development and applied economics from the University of Vermont.
CORRECTION:
In the Sept. 15 edition, the place of employment for CHARLES DUNN, of Worcester, was incorrect. He has been promoted to assistant vice president of commercial and industrial lending at Commerce Bank in Worcester.
