LEE CROWE was hired by Tegra Medical in Franklin, a medical device manufacturer, as vice president of sales and marketing. He previously worked for Swiss-Tech LLC in a similar role, and before that, held positions at Symmetry Medical, Smith & Nephew, and Linvatech/Hall Surgical, a division of Zimmer.
JAYNE D. MATTHEWS was promoted to vice president and mortgage lending manager at Fitchburg-based Workers' Credit Union. The Lunenberg resident joined the credit union as an underwriter 16 years ago and was most recently an assistant vice president and lending manager.
E. JACK STEWART was named to the board of directors at Southborough's Protonex Technology Corp. He has been involved in early-stage venture capital endeavors for the past 25 years, including as a founding partner of Venture Capital Fund of New England. Stewart holds a bachelor's degree from Yale University and an MBA from Harvard.
TINA KRASNECKY, LAURA CHILSON and JULIA ASHTON were all hired at Old Sturbridge Village living history museum. Krasnecky, of Sturbridge, was named vice president of finance. She most recently served as vice president of finance and administration and corporate controller at Plures Technology/Advanced Microsensors in Shrewsbury. Krasnecky has a bachelor's degree from Bentley University and an MBA from Clark. Chilson is marketing coordinator, and was previously a costumed historian at the village. She holds a degree in anthropology from Wellesley College. Ashton is corporate and foundation relations associate. A Leominster resident, she's a graduate of the Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts in North Adams. She was most recently employed as a grant research assistant at the college's office of institutional advancement.
KENDRA SHERMAN and SAMANTHA WHITTIER of Creedon & Co. Inc., a catering and food service company in Worcester, were both promoted. Sherman, who has been with the company since 2012, is assistant catering manager and chef. She holds a bachelor's degree from Johnson & Wales University. Whittier is now concessions manager. She earned a bachelor's degree in hospitality management from Southern New Hampshire University.
SEAN M. KENNEY was hired by Whitinsville-based UniBank as an officer and relationship banking manager in its new Grafton branch. Kenney previously worked at Santander Bank as an assistant vice president and branch manager.
THOMAS W. DOANE, SHARON A. QUINN and LEE A. THOMPSON were all promoted to senior vice president roles at Hudson-based Avidia Bank. Doane was hired as vice president of human resources in 2008. He earned both his bachelor's degree and MBA from Clark University. Quinn was hired as a vice president of cash management in 2009. A Medway resident, she holds a bachelor's degree from Skidmore College in Saratoga Springs, N.Y. Thompson joined the bank as a vice president of credit administration in 2008. The Maynard resident is a graduate of Franklin & Marshall College in Lancaster, Pa.
BRYAN GONTERMAN was hired as a vice president and general manager for telecom company AT&T. He will be based out of the company's regional headquarters in Framingham, and will oversee over 1,300 employees in New England. He previously served as assistant vice president for telecom operations and shared services at AT&T's headquarters in Dallas. Gonterman has a degree from Southern Illinois University.
JOSEPH D. McCARTHY was hired by Vaccon Co., an engineering and manufacturing company specializing in vacuum pumps in Medway, as an inside technical sales engineer. He most recently worked with EMC and Speedline Technologies. Also at Vaccon, CHRISTOPHER MAROTTA was hired as marketing communications manager. He previously worked for more than 12 years as a product marketing engineer at FEI Co. Marrotta earned a bachelor's degree in chemistry and physics from Gettysburg College in Gettysburg, Pa.
SHIVA PATIBANDA was named senior vice president and chief technology officer, a new position, at SeaChange International in Acton, a video software firm. Patibanda founded VividLogic Inc. in 1999, which was acquired by SeaChange in 2010. He holds a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering and a master's in computer science, both from Louisiana State University.
PAMELA THERRIEN was hired by Webster-based Orbit Realty as a real estate agent. She's the former co-owner of Therrien's Garage in Webster.
SUSAN M. SIMEONE was hired as vice president of retail lending at Oxford-based Hometown Bank. The West Brookfield resident holds a bachelor's degree from Framingham State University.
MICHAEL PACHECO of SpencerBANK was promoted to assistant vice president and IT officer. Pacheco joined the bank in 2010 as an IT generalist, and was named a technology specialist in 2012. He has a bachelor's degree in computer science from the University of Rhode Island.
MARIANNE BUDNIK was hired as chief marketing officer at infrastructure technology firm SimpliVity of Westborough. She had the same title at Acme Packet Inc., her previous employer. Before that, Budnik was chief marketing officer and senior vice president at CA Technologies. She has also held a number of leadership posts at EMC Corp., including vice president. Budnik is a graduate of Babson College and earned her master's degree from Boston University.
DEVON KURTZ was hired as project coordinator for the Worcester Blackstone Valley Visitor Center by the Blackstone River Valley National Heritage Corridor. His position is also supported by the College of the Holy Cross. Kurtz was most recently director of education at the Higgins Armory Museum in Worcester. He lives in Worcester.
THOMAS SEYMOUR, MELISSA EAGLES, JOHN HENDRIKSE and HEIDI PIERCE were all promoted at St. Mary's Credit Union in Marlborough. Seymour was named executive vice president of lending. He joined St. Mary's in 1980 as a consumer loan officer. Eagles, who has been working at the credit union since 2007, is now vice president of real estate lending. Hendrikse, with the credit union since 2001, was promoted to vice president of indirect lending. Pierce, who joined St. Mary's as a member service center representative in 2006, is now assistant vice president of the service center. n
