BOB APPIS and ERIK WEXLER joined the board of trustees of Anna Maria College in Paxton. Appis, of Cape Neddick, Maine, is the owner of The Egg and I restaurant in Ogunquit, Maine. He previously worked in a variety of management positions, including chief operating officer of Medical Logistics Inc. He earned his bachelor's degree from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, and his MBA from Anna Maria. He is a veteran of the U.S. Army. Wexler, of Shrewsbury, is president and CEO of St. Vincent Hospital in Worcester. He previously served as the senior vice president of Northwest Hospital and Lifebridge Health in Baltimore, Md. He has a bachelor's degree and MBA, both from the University of Hartford in West Hartford, Conn.
BILL DIBENEDETTO is the new president of Lampin Corp. of Uxbridge, an engineering and manufacturing firm. He is a graduate of Worcester Polytechnic Institute and lives in Shrewsbury.
United Bank, with branches in Central Massachusetts, hired RICHARD E. RENAUD as a senior loan originator. He previously worked as a home mortgage consultant with Wells Fargo Home Mortgage in Worcester. Renaud is a veteran of the U.S. Air Force.
Littleton-based Livewire Mobile Inc. named PATRICK BENNETT to its board of directors. He is the founder and owner of management consultancy CEO Strategies, and has held positions with firms such as Cellular One, Sprint PCS and Covad Communications, where he served as president and CEO.
Southbridge-based Savers Bank promoted THERESA COLOGNESI to executive vice president. She joined the bank in 2008 as the human resource manager and was promoted to vice president of human resources in 2010. She lives in Southbridge.
NEADS of Princeton hired CATHERINE ZEMAITIS as director of development, CAROL LIDINGTON as director of canine development and delivery and GERRY DeROCHE as CEO. Zemaitis was previously founding president of Equimedia Communications. Lidington worked for many years as a public relations professional and NEADS consultant. DeRoche previously held various management positions, most recently with Fleet Bank and Bank of America. He is a graduate of the University of Connecticut in Storrs, where he also earned an MBA in finance.
DarrowEverett LLP, a Boston and Providence law firm looking to expand into the Worcester area, hired DEVON A. KINNARD. He was formerly an attorney with Bowditch & Dewey LLP in Worcester, and most recently served as vice president and general counsel at Pat Hoey Productions in Auburn.
Fitchburg State University Board of Trustees swore in FRANK O'DONNELL of Swampscott as a new member. The 1993 graduate of Fitchburg State will serve as the alumni representative to the board. He replaces Beverly Farias. O'Donnell is vice president for mission support at CSMI, a defense contractor in Lawrence. He has master's degrees in law and public administration, earned simultaneously from Suffolk University in Boston.
The DCU Center in Worcester hired ADAM RALSTON as advertising and sponsorship sales manager. A graduate of Bowdoin College in Brunswick, Maine, he most recently served as promotion director of WAAF radio. He lives in Framingham.
DCI Engineering, a division of Coghlin Cos. of Worcester, promoted BILL JOHNSON to vice president and general manager. He was previously manager of mechanical engineering and vice president of operations and programs. He holds a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from Northeastern University in Boston.
Reliant Medical Group of Worcester named THOMAS HICKS chief of occupational medicine. He has served as an occupational medicine physician in private practice and as site medical director with UMass Correctional Health. He received his medical degree from Tufts University School of Medicine in Boston. Dr. Hicks is board certified by the American Board of Preventive Medicine-Occupational Medicine and the American Board of Family Medicine.
Webster Five named TERESA K. FLYNN senior vice president and director of human resources. She previously served as senior vice president and director of human resources at RiverBank. Flynn holds a bachelor's degree from Boston University and an MBA from Bentley University in Waltham.
Ross Mortgage Co. Inc. promoted MARK DALBON to assistant vice president. The branch manager of the Leominster office, he has been a mortgage planner with the company for more than 10 years. He lives in Westminster.
