SHERRY IACOBUCCI was promoted to office manager at the McCurdy Group in Sturbridge. She joined the company in 2013 as a receptionist, and within a few months transitioned to work as an assistant in the finance office. Iacobucci, who has more than 20 years of experience working in finance for town and school offices, lives in East Brookfield with her husband and four children.
PAM SAMPSON has joined Venture Community Services in Sturbridge as vice president of community and affiliate services. Sampson has more than 25 years of professional experience, most recently as regional director for the Kennedy-Donovan Center’s New Bedford adult programs, including shared living, adult foster care, acquired brain injury, individual supports, day habilitation and intensive flexible family supports. At Venture, she will serve as the primary business liaison to outside stakeholders and will oversee operations and service delivery for 44 community residences, shared living, adult foster care, in-home supports and affiliate services. She holds a graduate certificate in nonprofit administration and finance from Suffolk University in Boston, and a bachelor’s degree from New England College in Henniker, N.H.
ALEXANDRA MANSFIELD, TIMOTHY C. MONAHAN, LISA M. NEELEY, and EVA M. ZELNICK all joined Mirick O’Connell’s Worcester law office. Mansfield, who worked as a summer associate at Mirick O’Connell in 2015, joined the firm as an entry-level associate. She is a recent graduate of Boston College Law School. Monahan joined Mirick O’Connell’s business group, where he represents lenders and borrowers in all types of financing transactions. He previously worked for Kerstein Coren & Lichtenstein, LLP in Wellesley, where he was an associate. Neeley, a former officer with Fletcher Tilton PC, joined the trusts and estates group, where she assists clients in the preparation and filing of MassHealth applications. She has experience representing clients in appeal hearings regarding benefit eligibility issues before the Board of Hearings, Superior Court and Massachusetts Appeals Court. Zelnick joined the firm’s litigation group from Melick & Porter in Boston. At Mirick O’Connell, she will focus her practice on business and securities litigation, and in representing clients in response to state and federal government investigations.
MATTHEW MAGUIRE has joined Shepherd & Goldstein LLP in Worcester as a team accountant. In his new role, he will assist with client account responsibilities by providing tax, accounting and audit compliance services for the firm’s corporate and individual clients. A graduate of Nichols College, Maguire aspires to become a certified public accountant and to earn his master’s degree in accounting. He lives in Webster.
JENNA C. HUBACZ has joined the Office of Dr. Ralph S. McCracken Jr., D.D.S. in Holden. A North Brookfield native, Hubacz is a graduate of Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, where she graduated cum laude and was a member of the Omicron Kappa Upsilon dental honor society, an achievement earned by only the top 12 percent of graduates. After graduating from Tufts, she completed a one-year residency in advanced education in general dentistry at the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry. There, she was trained in the placement of dental implants, refined her comprehensive dentistry abilities, and taught in the department of clinical prosthodontics. She holds a bachelor’s degree from Assumption College.
LAUREN BAVOSI has joined Behavioral Concepts, Inc. in Worcester as director of marketing and development. She will be in charge of all marketing initiatives, including advancement of online social media and traditional media efforts, and will direct recruitment efforts and promote BCI’s newest location in Fitchburg. A Worcester native, Bavosi is a graduate of Notre Dame Academy and Clark University. She joins BCI from HMEA in Franklin, where she was marketing manager.Â
