MARTIN F. CONNORS JR. was reappointed to the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency's (OCC) Mutual Savings Association Advisory Committee. The OCC is a regulatory agency for banks and federal savings associations. Connors, a Leominster resident and president and CEO of Rollstone Bank & Trust, has been with the bank since 2004. He was appointed to the committee in 2013. In a separate announcement, Connors was elected chairman of the board of trustees at Fitchburg State University.
JAMES F. PETKEWICH, SHERRIE L. LeBOEUF, CHRISTINE G. MONTEIRO, MARIA L. PENNIMAN and GUILLERMO “BILLY” CASTILLO were promoted by St. Mary's Credit Union in Marlborough. Petkewich, of Leominster, is now senior vice president in the retail division; he was formerly vice president of retail. LeBoeuf, of Uxbridge, is now vice president of human resources, having been assistant vice president. Monteiro, of Hudson, was promoted to vice president and branch manager. Penniman, of Hudson, is now vice president and branch manager. Castillo, of Webster, was promoted to assistant vice president and branch manager.
KATHRYN A. CALO was named a partner at Lian Zarrow law firm in Worcester. She practices family law. Calo, a graduate of New England School of Law, joined the firm in 2010 as an associate.
PAUL C. FOLEY has rejoined Worcester-based law firm Mountain, Dearborn & Whiting LLC, as a partner. The Worcester resident earned his law degree from Georgetown University. He focuses on business law and litigation.
STEPHEN CHURCH was named an officer of the corporation by the board of directors of Photofabrication Engineering Inc. in Milford, which fabricates precision metals. Church, the company's vice president of finance, has been with the firm since 2010. He formerly worked in public accounting and spent 20 years as vice president of finance for AC Technology of Uxbridge.
THOMAS SUSKO was hired by Framingham-based architecture and engineering firm DPS as a senior process architect. He has more than 18 years of facility design experience, most recently experience with TRO JB in Boston. He holds a bachelor's degree in architecture from Roger Williams University.
LAURIE DOWNES was named a director to the board of Venture Community Services in Sturbridge, formerly RRI. Downes, a registered nurse, is an associate professor of nursing at Elms College. She holds a bachelor's degree in nursing from the University of Connecticut; a master's in nursing from the University of Pennsylvania; and a doctor of philosophy degree in education, also from the University of Pennsylvania.
ERIC JACQUIER was hired as an investment strategist at Melfa Wealth Management in Westborough. He has an undergraduate degree in electrical engineering from Supelec University in Gif-sur-Yvette, France; an MBA from the University of California, Los Angeles; and a Ph.D. in finance from the University of Chicago. He holds the professorship in derivative securities at the University of Montreal business school and is a professor at Boston University, where he teaches risk management.
KEVIN FARRELL and DAN RIDINGS were promoted to the senior leadership team at Conservation Services Group, a Westborough-based residential energy efficiency company. Farrell is vice president of corporate marketing, communications and training services. He has been with the company since 2009 and was formerly director of training services. Ridings is vice president of strategy and product development. He joined CSG in 2009 as program director in the Southeast.
JIM McDONOUGH was hired as director of sales and marketing, a newly created position, at The Virtual High School of Maynard, a nonprofit provider of online learning programs. He was formerly a consultant and a national director of marketing for Lexia Learning. McDonough also served in several marketing management roles. He earned a bachelor's degree in public relations and psychology from Suffolk University and a master's in elementary education from the University of Massachusetts Boston.
JOHN MILLER was named team leader for Keller Williams Realty in Worcester. He began his real estate career in 1991 and has served in several leadership roles for the company. He was formerly regional vice president at Carlson GMAC Real Estate.
MICHAEL J. MURPHY, CLINTON HEYD, DAVID B. SHOREY and JUDIE B. HAM were named to the Natick Visiting Nurse Association Board of Trustees. Murphy will serve as chair; he is an attorney in private practice and a resident of Natick. Heyd, vice chair, is also of Natick and a retired sales and risk management professional. Shorey, of Ashland, will serve as treasurer. He is senior vice president of commercial lending for Needham Bank. Ham is clerk. The Natick resident is a retired clinical research and research administration professional.
CHRISTINE A. BARIL, GENIE-RAE C. RICHARD, JOSEPH M. SIERACKI, TINA M. DIXON, MICHELE D. ALLAN and SHARON M. POLLITT were all hired by Robert C. Alario CPA, with offices in Worcester and Leominster. Baril, of Shrewsbury, was named audit manager. She received a bachelor's degree in accounting from Anna Maria College. Richard, of Leominster, was also named an audit manager. She earned bachelor's and master's degrees from Assumption College. Sieracki, of Providence, was named staff accountant. He earned a bachelor's degree in accounting from Rhode Island College. Dixon, of Webster, was named senior staff accountant. She graduated from Quinsigamond Community College. Allan, of Lunenburg, was named staff accountant. She holds a bachelor's degree from Becker College. Pollitt, of Templeton, was named senior staff accountant.
CHRISTINE M. LUCIER and JOEL LAUREANO were rehired and hired, respectively, by Millbury Savings Bank. Lucier is retail banking officer and market manager. She was most recently an assistant vice president and branch manager for Bay State Savings Bank. Prior to that, the Webster resident was branch manager of the former Millbury Savings branch on Rte. 146 in Millbury. Laureano, of Worcester, was hired as the new branch manager at 1001 Millbury St., Worcester. He was with Bay State Savings for more than 12 years.
KATRINA SWEENEY was promoted to branch manager of the Sutton branch of UniBank. She joined UniBank in 2013 as assistant branch manager with more than nine years of banking experience, previously at Bank of America and TD Bank.
SEAN P. CRUTCHLEY was hired by TD Bank as store manager on Main Street in Fitchburg. Crutchley is new to banking, after spending 15 years in retail sales and management. Prior to joining TD Bank, he served as a multichannel sales support manager at Best Buy in Framingham, and as an executive team leader of logistics with Target in Leominster. Crutchley is a graduate of Framingham State University. n
