BOB DUMONT of Fitchburg was hired as a full-time respiratory therapist by Holden Rehabilitation & Skilled Nursing Center. He has worked in the field of respiratory care for over 37 years.

HEATHER L. BELAIR was promoted to virtual branch manager at Bay State Savings Bank, based in Worcester. She has worked for the bank since 2003, and was most recently branch supervisor of the Franklin Street location. Belair was hired after graduation from Auburn High School after she worked as a part-time teller at the banking program offered through Bay State at the school. She’s a resident of Worcester.

 DR. HECTOR F. SIMOSA was hired by Worcester-based Reliant Medical Group’s Department of Vascular Surgery. He will see patients at Saint Vincent Hospital and Southboro Medical Group. Simosa received his medical degree from Escuela de Medicina “Luis Razetti” at La Universidad Central de Venezuela in Caracas, Venezuela. He then completed general surgery residencies at the Medical College of Virginia Hospitals in Richmond and Boston University Medical Center, followed by a vascular surgery fellowship at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston. He is board certified by the American Board of Surgery-General Surgery and the American Board of Surgery -General Vascular Surgery.

COREY LeBLANC was named director of therapy operations for Fairlawn Rehabilitation Hospital in Worcester. He was previously the hospital’s physical therapy rehabilitation manager and a staff physical therapist. The Holden resident earned a master’s degree in physical therapy from Boston University, and a doctorate in physical therapy from Simmons College.

ROBERT G. ORIOL was elected chair of the board of Worcester-based nonprofit Children’s Friend. He is president and CEO of Oriol Health Care in Holden. GARY CARSKADDAN, director of development at The College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, was elected first vice-chair. Other officers elected were PETER A. DUPELL, treasurer; SUZANNE WEEKES, clerk; and DOROTHY A. DUDLEY, executive committee member. Joining the board was RENÉE KUBLBECK.

DONALD DOYLE was named president and CEO-elect of Webster Five Cents Savings Bank. He was the bank’s senior vice president and senior lending officer. Doyle is now executive vice president and will work alongside President and CEO Richard Leahy until Leahy’s retirement in May 2016. Doyle joined Webster Five in 2004. He previously worked at Flagship Bank, Bank of Boston and Mechanics Bank. He is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts Amherst and holds an MBA from Suffolk University.

HEIDI-JO KEMP was hired by North Brookfield Savings Bank as a vice president and residential loan officer. Kemp began her banking career at Country Bank in 1988, where she worked for 27 years. She’s a graduate of Babson College.

JEFFREY W. HILLIS, president of AdCare Hospital in Worcester, was named chair of the National Association of Psychiatric Health Systems (NAPHS) Addiction Treatment Committee. Hillis is also a member of the NAPHS Board of Trustees. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Stonehill College, and a juris doctor and MBA from Suffolk University.

MICHAEL DOHERTY was hired as senior director of business development by The Training Associates in Westborough. He previously directed business development activities at Arrow Electronics.

KRISTEN L. DiMECO, CHRISTOPHER A. DOWNS and NIKI MAKRIS were hired by Clinton Savings Bank. All will serve as assistant branch managers. DiMeco, a former Clinton Savings employee, will work at the Bolton branch. Downs, of Citizens Financial Group, will serve at the Sterling branch, while  Makris will work at the main office branch in Clinton.

DRS. JENNIFER YATES and MITCHELL SOKOLOFF have been hired by Harrington Physician Services, based in Charlton, as urologic-oncologists. Harrington Physician Services ia an affiliate of Harrington HealthCare System. Dr. Yates received her medical degree from St. Louis University and is an assistant professor of urology at University of Massachusetts Medical School. She completed a residency at Rhode Island Hospital and a fellowship at Hackensack University Medical Center in N.J. Dr. Sokoloff is board certified in urology. He received his medical degree from Stanford University, then completed a residency from UCLA Medical Center and a fellowship from the University of Virginia Medical Center. He is chair of urology of UMass Memorial Medical Center and a professor and chair of the urology department at UMass Medical School.

Cold Chain Technologies, a maker of thermal packaging products based in Holliston, has announced three  promotions within the company’s senior management team. BOB BOHNE has been named president. T.J. RIZZO has been promoted to senior vice president of sales and marketing, and former president LARRY GORDON will now serve as CEO. Bohne joined the company in in 2007 as general manager and vice president of operations and Rizzo came aboard in 2006 as a sales engineer. Gordon had been president since he bought the company in 1998.  

 

JIM TASHJIAN has replaced the retiring Fred Williams as chairman of the board for Avidia Bank, based in Hudson. Tashjian has been a board member and corporator for the bank for 45 years.
