SUSAN RHEAULT was promoted to supervisor of operations at Hometown Bank in Oxford. Rheault has been working for Hometown Bank since 2008.
ASHLEY EMERSON-GILBERT was named director of education and outreach for the 15-40 Connection, a Westborough-based nonprofit promoting early cancer detection. Previously, she served as director of global outreach at the Seven Hills Foundation, based in Worcester. She has also worked as a public speaker, sharing her story as a survivor of leukemia.
CHERYL MILLER of Worcester joined the Massachusetts Small Business Development Center as a senior business adviser and training director. Miller will advise more than 250 small-business clients and entrepreneurial ventures annually, providing assistance to startups and early-stage ventures. She has over 13 years of financial services experience, primarily in small-business lending. The center is based in Amherst.
JEFFERY D. RYAN and DAVID FLYNN were hired by MutualOne Bank of Framingham as vice presidents of commercial lending. Ryan most recently served in a similar role at South Shore Bank. He holds a bachelor's degree from the University of Notre Dame and a master's from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. Flynn most recently worked as a vice president and commercial lender at Dedham Savings. He is a graduate of Terenure College in Dublin, Ireland.
Also at MutualOne, LYNNETTE A. MAHONEY of Blackstone was promoted to assistant vice president of commercial lending. She joined the bank in 2012 from Bank of America, where she was a portfolio monitoring officer. Maloney has a bachelor's degree from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
SHERYL SHINN, STEPHEN KOZLIK and MICHAEL STONE were hired by UniBank, based in Whitinsville. Shinn was hired as a senior vice president and chief information officer. She holds a bachelor's degree in mathematics and statistics from Mount Holyoke College and a graduate degree from the University of Pennsylvania. Kozlik is an assistant vice president and branch manager in Uxbridge. He previously worked at Citizens Bank. Kozlik has a bachelor's degree in business administration from Bryant University. Stone is a vice president and branch manager of the Whitinsville main branch. He previously worked at Fleet Bank and Bank of America. Stone is also a graduate of Bryant.
Also at UniBank, TANIA MEDINA was promoted to branch manager in Milford. She was most recently a relationship banking supervisor at the main branch in Whitinsville. Medina has a bachelor's degree in business administration from American Junior College in Quito, Ecuador.
BRIAN SULLIVAN was hired by Commerce Bank as a senior vice president and director of retail banking in the bank's headquarters in Worcester. A graduate of the University of Connecticut, he previously worked for TD Bank as a vice president and retail market manager.
DAWN WISBEY, STACEY O'NEIL and RICK LYNCH were hired by THRIVE Real Estate Specialists in Shrewsbury. Wisby and O'Neil are Realtors and Lynch is the firm's business manager. Wisbey has a background in personnel, development and human resources. O'Neil most recently worked as a business relations specialist at UMassOnline in Shrewsbury. She holds a bachelor's degree in management from Bentley University. Recently retiring from Bose Corp. in Framingham after 37 years, Lynch worked most recently as the company's director of business planning for its automotive systems division. He has a bachelor's degree in civil engineering from Bucknell University and an MBA from Harvard with a concentration in managerial economics.
KERRY FLATHERS and JOHN KITTREDGE joined the board of corporators for Clinton Financial Services, the parent company of Clinton Savings Bank. Flathers is director of organizational advancement at Perkins, a human service agency in Lancaster. She earned her master's degree in child and youth care administration from Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. Kittredge, a certified public accountant, owns Kittredge Tax and Accounting Services in South Lancaster. He is treasurer for the Town of Clinton.
DR. KATHLEEN C. COAN was hired as an emergency medicine physician by Harrington HealthCare System of Southbridge. She will work at Harrington's two emergency care centers in Southbridge and Webster. Dr. Coan, a resident of Sturbridge, holds a medical degree from the University of Connecticut. She recently completed her residency at Boston Medical Center, where she served as a chief resident of emergency medicine.
