LEO J. IRAKLIOTIS has been appointed as Becker College’s new provost and vice president of academic affairs. He holds a Ph.D in electrical and computer engineering from Colorado State University and a master’s degree in physics from Miami University. Irakliotis has held positions at five other colleges and universities.

SUZANNE SMILEY, of Sturbridge, was appointed vice president of commercial lending at Hometown Bank in Oxford. She holds a master’s degree in business from Assumption College, and is a member of the Worcester and Corridor Nine Area chambers of commerce.

DAVID J. MAYOTTE, of Woodstock, Conn., has been named a director at Greenberg Rosenblatt Kull PC (GRKP) of Worcester. He joined the firm in 1994 and specializes in accounting and tax services for individuals and privately held businesses. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Nichols College. Also, JEFFREY KRISTOFF, of Rutland, has joined GRKP as a tax manager. He most recently was a senior tax accountant with Sunovion Pharmaceuticals. Kristoff specializes in tax planning and compliance for individuals and privately held businesses; multi-state tax matters; and representing clients under audit. He holds degrees fom Worcester State University, Assumption College and Bentley University.

ANDY WALSKY was appointed vice president of sales for Europe, the Middle East and Asia-Pacific at Exagrid in Westborough. He has 20 years of experience in developing and executing international sales strategies, managing regional expansion and driving market share in EMEA and Asia.

JANET CHAMBERS of Leominster was elected to the board of directors at Fidelity Bank, based in Leominster. She’s a partner at Reagan & Co. CPA in Leominster. Also, ALVIN COLLINS, CHRISTOPHER McCARTHY and EDWARD TARQUINIO were re-elected directors. ROBERT ALARIO of Robert C. Alario CPA, in Leominster, was elected a corporator of the Fidelity Mutual Holding Co. Collins, of Groton, was elected clerk and JUDY KHALLADY, of Leominster, assistant clerk.



RUSS DYE was named senior vice president and senior lending officer of Webster Five Cents Savings Bank in Webster. He will be part of a management team to direct the business lending division. Dye has more than three decades of experience in banking, and has lived in Worcester for almost 30 years. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Hobart College in Geneva, N.Y., and is a graduate of the Stonier Graduate School of Banking.

ROB NICHOLS was hired as vice president of strategic solutions within the construction services division of Electronic Environments Corp. of Marlborough. He will take part in strategic business development and key account management for health care, finance and life sciences. Nichols holds two  bachelor’s degrees from Boston University.

STEPHEN HILBORN has joined Harrington Physician Services, based in Southbridge, as a general surgeon and wound specialist. He has worked in both Vermont and New Hampshire, and received his medical degree from Tufts University School of Medicine. Hilborn is also a member of the American College of Surgeons.

North Brookfield Savings Bank has promoted DEREK GRUETER, WARREN IZYK, ADAM GILLETTE, RENEE JURCZYK and MARY ANTINOVITCH. Grueter is now loan servicing representative. Izyk and Jurczyk were promoted to branch manager and assistant branch manager, respectively, of the Belchertown branch. Gillette and Antinovitch were promoted to branch manager and assistant branch manager, also respectively, of the East Brookfield branch. Grueter holds a bachelor's degree from Framingham State University. Izyk has been with the bank for eight years, and served as assistant branch manager in Belchertown. Jurczyk has more than 30 years of banking experience, and has served as supervisor for the North Brookfield branch. Gillette has been with NBSB for 13 years, and has served as both supervisor and assistant branch manager. Antinovitch has worked for NBSB for 17 years, serving most recently as supervisor of the West Brookfield branch.
 
CHINA GORMAN was hired by Globoforce, of Southborough, as a consultant and chair of its WorkHuman advisory board. WorkHuman 2016 is an HR industry conference that focuses on the future of the workplace. Gorman has more than 25 years of experience in HR consulting.
 
Hometown Bank of Oxford has promoted JENNIFER MANCINI of Webster and RAYMOND NUTTER of Putnam, Conn. Mancini will serve as compliance assistant, assuring bank-wide regulatory compliance. Nutter was promoted to senior loan processor and will be responsible for reviewing, processing and monitoring residential and equity loan applications and ensuring loan quality compliance and adherence to policy.

DOROTHY A. HAUVER has been named vice president of administration and finance at the College of the Holy Cross. The Shrewsbury resident was hired as finance director in 2011 and has served as interim vice president since February. Hauver worked as an accountant and auditor at KPMG in Boston after graduating from the University of Massachusetts with a bachelor’s degree in accounting. She’s also a member of the board of directors of the Boston Consortium for Higher Education.

JEFFREY H. GILLOOLY has been named vice president for university advancement at Clark University. He will lead fundraising efforts and help further the school's philanthropic efforts. Gillooly worked at the University of Rochester, where he served as assistant vice president for presidential advancement and university volunteer management. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Dartmouth College and a master’s from Vanderbilt University.             

LESTON WELSH and REBECCA SCOTCHIE have joined Unum Group's office in Worcester as vice presidents. Welsh is vice president of operations and Scotchie vice president of finance in the insurer's disability insurance operations. Scotchie is relocating from Tennessee to Westborough.
