CHRISTINE TAYLOR was hired as an account manager at Fallon Health in Worcester. A resident of Dudley, she was formerly a sales executive at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts' Worcester location for 15 years. Before that, Taylor worked at Blue Cross Blue Shield Vermont. She began her career as an account manager at Central Mass. Health Care, which then changed its name to Healthsource, then Cigna.

NEAL BRUCE was hired as vice president of product marketing by social recognition product firm Globoforce, with offices in Southborough. Bruce has served in similar roles at companies including Monster, First Advantage, PeopleFluent, and, most recently, U.K.-based Lumesse.

EDWARD R. CARR was named director of the Clark University International Development, Community & Environment Department. He joined the school from the University of South Carolina's Department of Geography, where he served as associate director of the humanitarian response and development lab. Carr previously served as an American Association for the Advancement of Science fellow, and worked at the U.S. Agency for International Development. For more than 15 years, Carr has worked in rural sub-Saharan Africa on issues of globalization, development and environmental change.

CAITLIN BURNS and LILLIAN CARLSON were promoted by North Brookfield Savings Bank. Burns, junior underwriter and closer, was most recently a senior mortgage processor and closer. The North Brookfield resident began her career with the bank as a loan servicing representative before becoming a mortgage processor. Carlson was promoted to loan officer and senior collections manager. A resident of Leicester, she joined the bank in 2011. Both are graduates of Worcester State University.

MATTHEW SHORTSLEEVE, BRIAN HERR and JOHN MOSHER were hired by Solect Energy, a solar company in Hopkinton. Shortsleeve is senior business director of development services. He was previously regional director of the northeast U.S. for RGS Energy. Herr, the new vice president of business development for the public sector and education, began his career as a sales engineer with Westinghouse Electric Corp. and held various sales, sales management, marketing, and general management roles. Mosher, vice president of energy solutions, has over 20 years of product design, development and commercialization experience.

JOHN H. CRAIG was hired by MetroWest Community Federal Credit Union in Framingham as vice president and chief financial officer. He was most recently director of municipal partnerships at WasteZero Inc. of North Andover. Craig was treasurer for Natick Metro West Federal Credit Union, which merged with the then-Framingham Municipal Federal Credit Union in 2005. It later became MetroWest Community Federal Credit Union. He holds a bachelor's degree in accounting from Bentley University, and a master's in education administration from Framingham State University. He's a long-time Natick resident who now lives in Ashland.

Also at MetroWest Community Federal Credit Union, JOSEPH MANSOUR was promoted to president and chief executive officer, and will take over for the retiring John Gallinagh, who has held the role since 2009. Mansour has served as the credit union's chief financial officer for six years. A retired U.S. Army captain, he is a certified public accountant, earning a bachelor's degree in finance from Northeastern University and an MBA from the University of Massachusetts Lowell.

TERESA WINNER BLUME, KRISTA RIVER, MICHAEL HANLEY and BRAD FUGATE were hired by Walnut Hill School for the Arts in Natick. Blume was named head of voice at the independent boarding and day high school. She holds a bachelor's degree in vocal performance from the University of Illinois at Urbana–Champaign, and a master's in music from the Eastman School of Music in Rochester, N.Y. Blume teaches privately and is on the voice faculty at Gordon College in Wenham. River, Hanley and Fugate were hired as adjunct voice faculty this fall.

A.J. ATCHUE joined the Atchue Insurance Agency in Worcester, which his father, Earl V. Atchue Jr., owns, as a licensed agent. For the past three years, he has worked for Nationwide Insurance's Worcester office, as a commercial lines processing specialist. Atchue holds a bachelor's degree from Quinnipiac College in Hamden, Conn.

JUDITH PARE was appointed to the healthcare committee of the Worcester County District Attorney's Task Force to examine the opioid crisis in the county. The committee is comprised of local physicians, legislators, members of the DA's office and health care educators. Pare is the dean of nursing and health sciences at Becker College. She has a master's degree in nursing from Salem State University and a Ph.D. in education from Capella University in Minneapolis.

BRAD FENN has been promoted from electronic banking technology manager to vice president at Whitinsville-based UniBank. He's been with the bank for over a year. Fenn previously worked as a product manager at JPMorgan Chase in Lowell for 11 years. He earned a bachelor's degree in mathematics from Bates College in Lewiston, Maine.

SHARON E. FRAZIER was promoted at All Star Incentive Marketing in Sturbridge to vice president of finance. Previously the company's controller, Frazier has been responsible for All Star's accounting and finance for nearly 25 years. A resident of West Millbury and a licensed CPA, she holds a bachelor's degree from Nichols College.

LAURIE A. ALICEA, DIANA BRUNEAU, LYNNE B. ELLIS and MONIQUE MARINELLI were all promoted by Savers Bank in Southbridge from branch managers to retail banking officers. Alicea joined the bank in 1986 as a teller. She manages the bank's Sturbridge branch. Bruneau started with the bank in 1975, worked for Savers until 1988, and returned in 1993. She manages the Uxbridge branch. Ellis has been with Savers Bank for six years, and previously worked for Safety Fund Bank. She is Auburn branch manager. Marinelli has been with the bank since 1984 in various positions, and heads the Southbridge branch.

JAMES CARRITTE, JOSHUA K. DODDS, ANN MARIE MIRES and REAGAN PARAS were all hired by Anna Maria College in Paxton. Carritte is director of fire science and emergency management programs. He spent nearly 30 years serving the Lynn Fire Department as a firefighter, deputy chief and acting chief. He earned his bachelor's degree from Salem State University and his master's and doctorate degrees from Boston College. Dodds is director of multicultural affairs. He was formerly dean of students and school culture at Baystate Academy Charter Public School. He received his bachelor's degree from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, and his master's from Northeastern University. Mires will direct the nonprofit Molly Bish Center for the Protection of Children and Elderly and Forensic Criminology, and its academic program. She has more than three decades of experience in forensics, including 25 years as a forensic anthropologist in the Massachusetts Office of the Chief Medical Examiner. Mires holds a bachelor's degree from the University of New Hampshire, a master's degree from the University of Arkansas, and a doctorate from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. Paras, of Brookfield, is assistant director of music. He has extensive experience performing, arranging and conducting scores, and directing performances. Paras received his bachelor's degree from Anna Maria College and his master's from Gordon College.

MICHAEL STUART was hired as director of compliance and continuous quality improvement at The Bridge of Central Mass., in Worcester, a nonprofit serving people with developmental disabilities and other challenges. He formerly worked at Community HealthLink and at Spectrum Systems Inc., in several key positions. Stuart, of Sutton, is a graduate of Worcester State University and holds a master's degree from Nichols College.

ANDREW J. DAVIDSON has been hired as controller and chief financial officer at Landscaping Etc. Inc., of Millbury. He has 35 years of accounting experience with public accounting firms and construction companies. He graduated from Worcester Polytechnic Institute with a degree in management.

 

DONNA JAWOREK has been hired by Pernet Family Health Service Inc., of Worcester, as director of early intervention.
