Mount Wachusett gains certification
Mount Wachusett Community College has become one of only five colleges in New England to have its testing services center certified by the National College Testing Association, MWCC announced Thursday.
The Gardner college offers tests for prospective and current students, alumni and others in the community. Mount Wachusett said certification from the testing association is seen as a gold standard in the industry.
The certification followed a 15-month review process of its testing procedures by the testing association.
Other New England schools with the certification are UMass Boston, Bridgewater State University, North Shore Community College and the University of Vermont. Only 158 schools are certified nationally.
