Motorcycle ride to raise opioid awareness

A 40-mile motorcycle ride ending in Worcester on Saturday will double as fundraiser to raise awareness of opioid addiction.

Taunton nonprofit Learn to Cope is holding its Rally 2 Recovery motorcycle ride with bikers riding from Ware to Worcester, through parts of Central Massachusetts that have been hit hard by the opioid epidemic, according to a press release from TJ Woods Insurance Agency, one of the event’s sponsors.

More than 20 companies and nonprofits are sponsoring the event, according to the release.
