A nearly 30,000-square-foot office and warehouse building on Route 9 in Westborough has sold for $4.8 million to the retail chain Monroe Tractor.
Monroe Tractor, based in the Rochester, N.Y., area, said it will open a new retail location at 97 Turnpike Road to replace its existing Central Massachusetts location at 47 Southwest Cutoff in Worcester.
The property at 97 Turnpike Road was sold by a firm registered to John Finn, a director at the manufacturer Fiba Technologies in Littleton, which has a location at the site. The sale closed March 26.
The site's other occupants include Northeast Dry Ice and Northeast Butane.
The nearly six-acre site was last assessed by the Town of Westborough at nearly $2.8 million.
