Law firm Mirick O'Connell has extended the lease of its 38,277-square-foot office at 100 Front St. in Worcester for 10 years, according to City Manager Michael V. O'Brien's office.
The business law firm is headquartered in Worcester and has offices in Westborough and Boston.
The 268,000-square-foot 100 Front St. building is part of the CitySquare development downtown. It also houses a Bank of America branch office and is owned by Berkeley Investments of Boston, which owns about 730,000 square feet of commercial space downtown.
Work began recently on the long-stalled CitySquare project after a $70 million investment by a subsidiary of The Hanover Insurance Group of Worcester.
The nearly $600 million development will be home to a new 214,000-square-foot office for employee benefits provider Unum Group, which is currently located on Chestnut Street.
Mirick O'Connell has had a presence in Worcester for nearly 95 years, according to the firm.
