A new L.L. Bean outpost slated for The Shoppes at Blackstone Valley in Millbury will open its doors to customers on Friday, Oct. 22, the Maine retailer announced on Tuesday.
The branch will be the eighth L.L. Bean retail location to open in Massachusetts, per the announcement, and will employ approximately 50 people. The store will include roughly 15,000 square feet of space.
“As we continue to expand our footprint in the U.S., we look forward to opening our newest retail store in Massachusetts, where we have experienced significant interest from our customers,” said Greg Elder, chief retail officer, in a statement.
In tandem with the opening, L.L. Bean plans to donate $10,000 to the Town of Millbury trails committee.
