Millbury company leads 17 Central Mass. firms on Inc. 5000 fastest-growing list

Prime Power Rentals of Millbury led the Central Massachusetts contingency of the Inc. 5000, Inc. magazine’s annual list of the fastest-growing companies in the nation.
The publication ranks companies based on the previous three years of revenue growth and selects the top 5,000 from among companies that submit data.
Here are the 17 companies in Central Massachusetts made the list this year:
- Prime Power Rentals of Millbury tops the local contenders at #517, reporting 1,139% in revenue growth between 2019 and 2022.
- Hudson formal-wear shop Lady Black Tie was ranked #518 with 1,138% in revenue growth.
- ConnectM Technology Solutions of Marlborough was ranked #636 with 916% growth. It jumped from #772 in 2022.
- Maynard software firm ClearGov came in at #819 with 724% growth.
- Renewable energy company Gridwealth of Sudbury ranked 1,215 with 485% growth.
- Geisel Software of Worcester stayed on the list at number 2,327 after ranking 1,549 last year. The company reported 237% revenue growth over the past three years.
- European Architectural Supply of Littleton is ranked 2,361 with 234% growth.
- Lunenburg software company KensieMae reported 174% in growth, putting it in the 2,992 spot, down from last year when it was ranked 2,095.
- Modern Energy, a Worcester HVAC company, is ranked 3,326 with 152% growth.
- Acton jewelry company Tiny Tags grew 137% placing it at 3,578, up from 4,866 in 2022.
- Software firm ConnectedView in Hudson grew its revenue 133%, putting it on the list at #3,648.
- Triumph Play Systems in Ashburnham is back on the list at #3,748 with 127% of growth. In 2022, the company was ranked 2,209.
- Barrett Distribution Centers in Franklin grew by 108%. It ranked 4,168 after being ranked 4,225 in 2022.
- Marlborough web design firm 3 Media Web is ranked 4,186 with 107% growth.
- ClearCom IT Solutions in Sturbridge reported 104% growth and is ranked 4,257.
- Worcester IT firm Machado Consulting joined the list at 4,686, growing 86%.
- Workforce management firm TalentBurst in Natick reported 81% growth, placing it in the 4,796th position on the Inc. 5000.
