Milford's SeraCare Continues Profit Streak

SeraCare Life Sciences Inc. of Milford said its third quarter revenue grew 10 percent to $13 million and the company reported a profit of $1.3 million.
That makes five consecutive profitable quarters for the company, which makes products used in drug discovery, development and research and emerged from bankruptcy two years ago.
The company reported a $2.1 million profit for the second quarter.
A year ago, the company made a profit of $697,019 for the third quarter, but had lost $16.8 million for the year to that point.
Operating income for the quarter was $1.4 million compared to $771,562 a year ago.
