Atlas Travel of Milford is expanding to the Midwest and has hired a travel industry veteran to staff the new regional office in Chicago, the company announced.
The expansion into the Midwest follows moves into other markets this year; Atlas opened a New York City office in January and announced last month it would open another in Washington, D.C., to cover the mid-Atlantic region.
Patrick “PJ” Mazza, who has worked in business development for a travel company that was owned by his father until 2006, will head the Chicago office. “Patrick brings years of family-run travel company experience that matches well with our corporate mission to bring personalized service to the business travel world,” said Atlas President and CEO Elaine Osgood.
