Milford-based network software company Connected2Fiber has raised $8 million in series A funding after just two years of doing business, the company announced last week.
The investment from Boston-based Ascent Venture Partners, Marblehead-based NXT Ventures, London-based Nauta Capital and Philadelphia-based Osage Partners will be used for product development and innovation, sales growth and expanding the company’s customer success team.
Connected2Fiber, which provides software-as-a-service platforms for the networking industry, was founded in 2015, but has already achieved several important milestones, the company said, including working with five of the top 10 largest multiple-system operators and covering more than 4 million unique locations.
In a statement, Matt Fates, general partner at Ascent Venture Partners, said The Connected World -- the company’s SaaS platform -- has become a cornerstone for successful business-to-business sales and marketing teams.
“Connected2Fiber is the 'next generation playbook' for connectivity B2B marketers and rightfully recognized as the emerging platform of choice.“ he said.
