Greenwood Industries, a roofing company headquartered in Worcester with a Milford branch, has acquired Hudson Valley Roofing in New York.
Financial terms were not disclosed, nor did the Thursday announcement from Greenwood divulge its plan for the Hudson Valley employees.
The acquisition of Hudson Valley Roofing will allow Greenwood to expand into the Metropolitan New York area, according to the announcement.
Hudson Valley Roofing was founded in 2003 and has worked on high profile projects throughout New York such as LaGuardia Airport's Terminal B, the JP Morgan Library and Museum, and Google's New York offices on Pier 57.
“Hudson Valley Roofing's stellar reputation on delivering exceptional service to their customers, coupled with our suite of building envelope solutions, is a win/win for the state of New York," said David Klein, Greenwood's owner and president, in the written announcement.
