Milford Regional Medical Center has opened a new outpatient center in a building that was under construction last fall.
Milford Regional Medical Center has opened a new outpatient center in Franklin to move some existing area services and adds others.
The new building at 1280 W. Central St. in Franklin now hosts Milford Regional's lab located at the Franklin Medical Center on East Central Street and a lab at 2 S. Maple St. in Bellingham.
The new Franklin site includes primary care, rheumatology, pediatrics and other services already a part of the medical center's outpatient Milford Regional Physicians Group practices. Diagnostic imaging services including 3-D mammography and ultrasound have been offered starting Thursday, and lab services will begin on Monday.
The East Central Street facility will close at noon on Monday. The Bellingham location has already closed.
