Milford Regional Medical Center ’s Mélange 2022 Gala and Live Auction raised a record-breaking $1.1 million on Nov. 5 after returning to an in-person event.
Seven of the top donors contributed $25,000 a piece, the hospital announced on Tuesday. They included Consigli Construction Co., Inc. of MIlford, Green Site Services Group of Bellingham, ImperialCars.com of Mendon and Milford, Cliff Rucker and the Worcester Railers of Worcester, SALMON Health & Retirement of Milford, Wayne J. Griffin Electric, Inc. of Holliston, and the Brucato family, which has a foundation in Connecticut.
The event took place at Medway senior independent living facility The Willows, a community operated by Salmon Health & Retirement, which sponsored the gala.
Paul Zekos of The Zekos Group Auctioneers in Shrewsbury hosted the live auction portion of the event. During the auction, pledges were accepted for a series of vacations and other events, as well as to help establish a dedicated Congestive Heart Failure program at the hospital.
More than 400 people attended the event.
