Milford-based loss prevention firm LP Innovations is set to be acquired by a Las Vegas video surveillance firm.
The dollar amount of the acquisition wasn’t released, but Las Vegas-based DTT announced the creation of an $80 million line of credit “primarily” for the transaction.
LP Innovations works primarily with the retail, grocery, pharmacy and convenience store industries, while DTT’s video surveillance solutions are used by the hospitality and specialty retail industries.
The merger essentially adds more areas of expertise to DTT’s loss prevention portfolio, the company said in a press release.
“The merger makes DTT the first and only company that can provide clients with a full suite of LP solutions across multiple industries, merging standard LP solutions together with leading-edge solutions, including BI Tools, POS integration, video analytics and remote audits,” said DTT CEO Sam Naficy.
