Milford-based Waters Corp. has sold chromatography equipment to the U.S. Drug Enforcement Agency, which intends to use it to train forensic chemists.
The liquid chromatograph will be housed at the DEA’s special training and research laboratory in Dulles, Va. The lab intends to use the Waters chromatograph to profile the chemical makeup of certain drugs and for drug screening analysis.
The DEA has been using Waters equipment since 2004.
