Biopharmaceutical manufacturer Rentschler Biopharma, which counts Milford as its main U.S. location, hired Tobias Glueck to lead its global human resources team as its new senior vice president of the department.
Glueck will be responsible for developing and coordinating HR activities at the company’s three sites in Germany, England and in Milford, according to an Oct. 13 announcement from Rentschler.
Glueck replaces Diana Wiedmann, who left the company in the summer to pursue other opportunities, according to Rentschler. Wiedmann, who is based in Germany, still lists her Rentschler position as her current role, according to her LinkedIn profile.
Glueck has worked as an executive in the United States and Germany and has more than 25 years of human resources experience.
He joins Rentschler Biopharma from Novartis Germany GmbH, where he was the managing director of people and organizations, where he worked in HR of the pharma business unit. Previously, he was the vice president of human resources at Cameron, an energy company based in Texas.
In August 2021, Rentschler Biopharma broke ground on a new 22,000-square-foot cleanroom manufacturing facility in Milford, expected to be operational in late 2023. The new facility will be home to four new single-use bioreactors.
In July, the company named Mark Caswell as head of its Milford operations.
