A massive Milford warehouse housing an Amazon distribution facility and a communications equipment supplier has been sold for $33.6 million to a Boston-based property investment firm.
Cabot Properties, via Kickerbocker Milford LLC, purchased the 410,000-square-foot building last week from California real estate investment firm Colony Capital according to Worcester County property records.
Amazon has operated a distribution facility in a portion of the building for at least a year, and Illinois communications equipment supplier Anixter was approved in March 2018 for plans to occupy 102,000 square feet of space in the building.
On Cabot Properties’ website, the firm said it had about $240 million invested in Boston-area real estate.
The 29-acre Milford property was last assessed for $22.4 million this year. It’s sale price in 2010 was $26.7 million.
